Sapphire fell asleep after lunch. He still took mid day naps. It was peaceful. The past three days had gone from telling Sapphire that he was Sonic to just him and May starting to slowly trust everyone. He now let everyone except Amy near him. May held him mostly, but here and there Rouge or I would get to hold him for a while. When May wasn't holding Sapphire she was holding Tails.

"He's letting you hold him as he sleeps," I watched Rouge  as she held Sapphire in his sleep.

"Yeah, that's new," Rouge played with his quills as we relaxed.

"Nothing we've tried has brought his memory back," Tails sighed.

"What if he doesn't want to remember?" Shadow suggested.

"That's impossible, he would want to remember no matter what," Knuckles replied.

"Yet he hasn't wanted to try memebering on his own. He simply listens to us. Not only that, but his own body hasn't given him a single clue," Shadow explain, "Sonic may be in there but that doesn't mean he'll come back out."

"Shadow's right..." Tails looked towards Sapphire and May, who were asleep together, "Sonic's entire life was around fighting Eggman. What if he doesn't want to fight anymore? He wants to retire and forget it all..."

"Well that doesn't really work for me," that voice, it had been months since we last heard it.

"Eggman. On another donut run?" Knuckles teased him as I covered Sonic with a blanket to keep him hidden.

"As a matter a fact I only came by to let you all know the donut shop was robbed. Fair well," he left.

He walked out of Tails's house and left.

"That's no a good sign," Shadow spoke, "Eggman wasn't dressed in sweats. He was wearing his old uniform."

"Does he know?" I asked.

"Hard to say. Either he got his motivation back, he knows, or he wants the donut show back," Shadow replied, "Better to be safe. Don't let Sapphire outside for a little while."

"Yeah, best to be safe..."

"Can we play outside?" I asked.

"I'm sorry Sapphire, not today, maybe tomorrow," Blaze said.

"Why can't we go outside?" May asked, "It's not raining."

"Well... it's... it's too hot outside," Blaze told us.

"Oh..." I looked out the window, "Is there a beach?"

"We don't have our swimsuits Sapphire," May said.

"... I want to go home..." I was tired of playing here. I missed Hana and Ashley.

"I miss mommy..." May hugged me.

"Do you think she'll find us?" I asked.

"Mommy can do anything. She'll find us."

"OHOHOHOH!"

"What's that?" I got up and followed the sound with May. There was a big man outside in a red shirt.

"ROBOTS!" He was telling, "CAPTURE SONIC!"

"AHH!" The robots where breaking the wall.

"Sapphire!" Blaze grabbed me, "Damn it he knew!"

There was so much noise. They were all fight. No! I wanna go home! This is scary.

"Sapphire wait here," Blaze put me down next to May, "stay away from the fight."

"I want to go home..." I started crying, it was too scary.

"Get away from him!" May threw a rock at a robot.

"AAHHH!" Something grabbed me. I could get away. A giant metal hand that make from the big man had me.

"OHOHOHOH! I'll be on my way."

"May!" I was being taken away... I didn't want to be taken away, "May!"

---

"Stop crying!" The man yelling and he threw me onto the floor. It hurt... "Sonic, understand this. You are my prisoner now, got it!"

I was locked away. I couldn't see May, or Hana, or Ashley now... I was going to be a prisoner forever...

I want to go home with May. I don't want to be here anymore. I want to go home.

"You can't go, you're the hero."

"W... what..." I heard someone... "B-ut I don't wa-ant to be there her-ro..."

"You have to."

"W... why?"

"Because you're the hero. Do you not want to be the hero?"

"No..."

"But if you're not the hero, I'll disappear."

"I don't want to be the hero..."

"Are you sure? I'll never come back-"

"Quiet!" The big man yelled.

  It's too scary...

I never want to be a hero.
