Adam had just left to tie up some loose ends at his record label and I had finished feeding Noah and put him down for his nap. The doorbell rang and although I was seriously planning to go back to bed the minute Naoh closed his eyes, I welcomed the company I found on the other side.

"Kelly. I'm so glad to see you. I just wanted to apologize for how I acted yesterday. I didnt mean to be rude"

"Girl dont even worry about that. Adam explained everything"

"He did?"

"Sure. I am sure its so stressful. Having a house that isnt unpacked yet, a new baby, throw in some sleep depriviation and I would be ready to bite someones head off. Thats why I am here actually. I thought I could help you get some stuff done."

"Kelly you are a lifesaver. I mean it. You are such a good friend. "

Kelly and I got to work and before long it actually looked like we were making some progress. Things were coming along so nicely that we decided to take a break and we turned on the television. "Stop... extras about to announce who made peoples sexiest bachelor list.. I wanna see this.."

I granted her request and stopped channel hopping. However I soon wished I never had.

"and rounding out the list at number 1 is Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. Its been a stellar year for the 34 year old. His talent show finally beat out American Idol for the ratings, he is signed on for a 5th season , nominated for 3 grammy awards, has a multiplatinum album still in the top 10 , landed starring roles in both a tv series and a feature film and still managed to find time to father a child with former voice contestant Shelby Ryan.. Dont worry though ladies,, the one thing Adam hasnt done yet this year is say I do. Adam is technically still very much available and tops this years list of sexy bachelors."

Instincetively I turned off the channel and kelly didnt even try to protest. She just looked at me sympathetically, tears welling in my eyes and Kelly did not seem to have a clue what to say. The silence was broken by the phone ringing.

"Hello"

"Shelby, I didnt wake up the little man did I?"

"No. He's still out.. I just saw you on TV. "

"Yeah. That was unexpected to say the least. But my PR people are thrilled and now I have two call in radio interviews to do. I was calling to let you know I'm going to be a little later than I planned."

'Thats ok, Kelly stopped by to help me unpack and stuff..so I have company"

"Thats great.. Tell Kelly I owe her one... I'll see you as soon as I can. and kiss Noah for me. I love you two,"

"Ok honey I gotta go, tune in to Ryan Seacrest and listen to me.."

"I guess the sexiest bachelor alive is getting ready to be on the radio.. Lets see what he has to say shall we."

"Ok..so live on the phone with us now is Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine. Before we get down to business I hear some congratulations are in order on the personal front. You and your girlfriend just had your first child this week. A little boy."

"Yep.. I actually have a son if you can believe that. Its wild man.. Never in a million years did I expect it to feel so great. I have a son.. Noah. We named him Noah."

"Thats your middle name?"

"correct. And his middle name is Ryan"

"awesome. Adam levine named his son after me."

Adam Chuckled "Actually Ryan is his mothers last name.. so we named him Noah Ryan Levine.. a perfect blend of the two of us.."

"Speaking of that.. where are the photos dude? I want pictures"

"I wouldnt expect that just yet. Shelby and I want to keep him out of the spotlight as much as possible.."

"Who does he look like?"

"His mom."

"No tattoos?"

"Not yet"

Adam chuckled again. "But I have to know man.. How exactly did you win this award.. I wouldnt exactly call you a bachelor... I mean technically you arent married but you are in a relationship with Shelby correct. "

"Yes"

"and its serious?"

"we bought a home together and had a son. I dont kow how much more serious it can get"

"I think thats where marriage comes in... "

"so.. No wedding bells in the future? ?"

"I..I..I really dont know. We havent had that conversation. We are in a place where we are happy. Its working for us and lets just leave it at that... "
