The next morning had rolled around rather quickly, making the sun shine through the boarded up window. The harsh rays fell on her face, forcing her awake from her peaceful slumber. She groggily rubbed the sleep from her eyes and soon sat up. She started to stretch as her eyes instinctively went over to AJ, who was sleeping on the other bed, his blanket sluggishly covering his body.
I hope he slept well, she thought as a gentle smile settled on her features.
She then turned to face Clem, who was sleeping beside her. She didn't even realize how close the two of them had rolled over while sleeping. Without thinking, she studied his relaxed expression, normally, he has this firm frown on his face which makes him look tough and somewhat intimidating but right now, he looked. . .at peace. A few small strands of his curly hair which he normally held back with his hat, fell on his face charmingly. She unconsciously reached out a hand and pushed back the strands of hair to get a better look at his face.
Had he always looked this pretty?
Soon realizing what she was doing, she pulled back her hand and looked the other way. A sigh escaped from her lips, she didn't even realize how long she had been staring at him. She couldn't believe she was feeling this way, on top of that, it was towards no one other than Clement.
Not wanting to waste anymore time just watching Clem sleep like a creep, she went over and woke the two boys up. After all, the three of them had to go and meet up with Marlon later too.

She walked the flight of stairs with new-found energy while Clem and AJ trailed behind her lazily. Honesty, it had been a while since she slept so well, the nights spend sleeping in the car were truly restless and sort of dreadful. It had been a long time since she felt comfortable to sleep peacefully in a secure room.
"He's gonna let us stay. . .right?" AJ asked as he walked beside Clem, eyes uncertain.
"I guess we're gonna find out." Clem shrugged. "Let's go to his office."
"Oh, I know where that is!" AJ declared as he soon broke into a sprint, making her and Clem follow after him.
"Up here!" AJ said as he ran into a room, making (Y/N) call out for him, "Hey! AJ—wait up!"
(Y/N) and Clem soon arrived in front of the room which AJ had walked inside of. Clem pushed open the door to see Tenn and AJ sitting across from each other. The sound of the door creaking made Tenn look up from his toys.
