Forever falling

Chapter 22

Days after I lay in my hospital bed, not accepting visitors, not even eating. Occasionally the nurses would come in and check how I was doing.

On the 5th night I heard a different knock on the door.

"Chloe it's Zac." I hear

"Go away." I muffle out

"Ah come on Chloe just let me in I have food." He says

"You ruined this!"

"You know that's not true. I just showed you the truth." he softly says.

"Just leave me alone. And get out of my life." I yell

"Chloe."

"Just leave!"

"I brought ice cream. Cookies and cream your favorite. And pizza. Oh and Starbucks." he whispers

"I'm not eating anything."

"That's not good for you!" he says angrily.

"Neither is a broken heart." I cry out

"Well you know, I've heard that ice cream, pizza, Starbucks and movies can mend a broken heart. That's just what I've heard anyways." I can hear the smirk on his face

"Zac--"

"Chloe if you don't like it at anytime I'll leave."

"I just want to be alone." I say

"No one ever wants to be alone."

"Well there's a first for everything."

"And your not going to be the first." he laughs

"Well hate to break it to you but the door is locked."

"I can fix that." there's a pause and then I hear faintly, "Um nurse why is there a no beeping going on is this room?"

"What?!" she yells. I can eat her footsteps running towards ye door and her keys fumbling to open the door.

I hear the door open and her sigh in relief. "Sir there is a beeping, but it's really quiet. Thank you for your concern." And she walks out.

He stands there smirking with his arms out in the air. "See." he says

"How?" I laugh

"I'm just that irresistible to the ladies."

"Shut up. I heard you! you said I wasn't breathing." I laugh.

He walks over and sits by me on the bed "Then why did you ask?" he laughs

"I don't know. Hahaha."

"Well are we going to watch movies or what?" he says

"I don't know your the one that came here!"

"Ok let's not watch Disney. To much lovey dovey, that won't help you out." he says

"Yeah probably not the best."

"And no other types of romance." He says, "So comedy?"

"I could use a laugh."

We end up picking Neighbors (not so much as we, Zac picked it because it's his new movie)

By the end of the movie I end up laughing until I end up crying of laughter.

"So you liked it?" Zac asked

I nod "I loved it!"

"Good." he laughed

I yawned and looked at the clock. 12:45 am.

"Zac you should go. I'm surprised they let you stay this late." I say

"Bribery."

"What?" I laugh

"I bribed a nurse."

"Oh my gosh."

"Well I had to." He shrugged

I laughed "You should probably go though."

"Okay good night Chloe." He says

"Good night."

He kisses my cheek and leaves.
