-Sean's POV-
I swung my sword forcefully at the training dummy.
"Woops..." I muttered, feeling embarrassed even though I was alone.
I swung so hard, the training dummy had been sliced in half.
I walked up to my shed, which had another 50 training dummies in it. I grabbed one and put it exactly where the other training dummy was, before I broke it, anyway.
I swung again, but this time I barely cut it.
Or so I thought.
The training dummy just collapsed on me, like it was trying to tell me to stop.
"I won't stop." I thought, stubbornly.
I walked into my "house", which had different types of armor and weapons scattered everywhere. I grabbed a random sword that was laying next to a wall and walked back outside.
I live an abandoned house, in the woods, training, for the rest of my life, alone.
I was just about to swing at another dummy with my new weapon, when I started hearing footsteps behind me.
"I know you're there." I said, standing up straight, to look more fierce.
"Don't you worry, Sean. I'm not going to hurt you, and I hope you won't hurt me." An unfamiliar voice said. It was a male voice to be exact.
"How do you know my name?" I said turning around to see who it was.
No one was there.
"Wha-?" I mumbled, very confused how the person had moved so quickly.
"You're going to come with me, ok?" He asked, which didn't really sound like a question.
Before I had time to protest, I passed out.
*5 hours later*
When I woke up, I was laying in a medium sized room that had a mint green colored walls and ceiling, where as the floor and the pillars that held up the walls were made of white marble.
I stood up and looked to my left and saw 5 other people, who all looked my age. 4 of them were guys, and one of them was a girl. They were sleeping peacefully on the floor, just like how I would've been.
"They must've passed out too..." I thought, looking around to see if anyone else was awake.
Just then, I saw one of them with brown hair, a black hoodie and glasses stand up, who looked at me with a puzzled look on his face.
"I don't know." I mouthed to him, obviously answering the question he was thinking.
Another guy woke up, looking around frantically, as if he was scared. He had brown hair and a purple-ish and green sweater on.
"Where am I?! Why am I here?! Who are you?!" He whispered, as I heard his voice shaking.
"Calm down." I whispered back. "I don't know where we are either."
I saw the guy in the black hoodie look at the another 3 people, who were just waking up.
The girl had gold-ish hair, that was put into a ponytail, and a neon blue hoodie. One guy had a plaid lumberjack shirt on and brown hair. The other guy had brown-ish blonde hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie and green shoes.
All of them stood up and looked at each other.
"Oh, you're awake." I heard a familiar voice say.
"It's the same guy who made me pass out..." I thought clenching my fists.
"Stop acting tough, Sean." He said, calmly.
Everyone looked at me, figuring that Sean was my name.
We saw a platform rise from the floor about 10 blocks in front of us. Then, a person appeared on it, who seemed to be the owner of the voice.
"Why did you bring us here?!" The guy in the lumberjack shirt said, bravely.
"I didn't bring you here, you just came here. Why? Oh, because you're dead." The person on the platform said.
The 6 of us stared at him, with frightened expressions.
"Haha, I'm just kidding. Don't take me that seriously. I like to kid around a lot." He chuckled.
"Oh good, I was about to flip!" The guy in the grey hoodie said, laughing.
"Why would a guy like that want to kidnap us?" I thought.
"Good question. And I didn't 'kidnap' you. I just teleported you to my make-shift mansion, for some tests." He answered, somehow reading my thoughts.
"Well, can we go now?" The girl said, impatiently, crossing her arms.
"Not so fast, Lexi. We aren't done, yet." He said, putting a finger up, signaling for her to wait.
"So, her name is Lexi..." I thought.
"Each of you are going to be apart of my test, which will not be easy. I am going to give each of you a secret ability that you have to learn to control and aid you, and your friends, to complete my challenges." He began.
"Friends?! I don't even know any of them!" The guy in the lumberjack shirt said.
We all nodded.
"Wait, you don't know each other? Well, this is going to be fun..." The man on the platform said, smiling.
"What kind of challenges?" I asked, feeling a bit excited.
"Well, there will be defensive challenges, as well as offensive challenges." He answered.
"Yes!" I whispered to myself, punching the air. Everyone looked at me like I was insane.
Ever since my parents and brother died, I've been having to live and train in a forest by myself, incase the people who killed my family decide to come back for me. It's fun for me when I can actually practice for fun.
"There will also be riddles, and tests to see if you can handle some things." He said, breaking my train of thought.
"What do you mean 'some things'?" The guy in the green and purple sweater asked, with a little bit of a scared tone in his voice.
"I'm not going to spoil anything, but you might want to prepare for what I'm about to send you into." He suggested.
"Any questions?" He asked, disappearing into grey mist.
Silence.
"Ok, good." He said, reappearing 5 blocks in front of us. "Are you ready?"
We all nodded confidently, except for the guy in the green and purple sweater, who nodded slowly.
Then, everything started to fade into shadows.
"Sorry, but this is the only way I can teleport you guys." The same voice said, fading away.
And I passed out. Again.
