When Tents Just Randomly Appear

-Liam's POV-

I swear, if our lives didn't depend on staying together, I would be slapping Graser now. He keeps skipping along the path, dragging me along with him.

Eventually, we made it to the exit of the maze. It was shaped just like the entrance, except it had more vines growing on the hedges.

Outside the maze was the same tan dirt path we've been following ever since we started this. Surrounding the path was a forest that looked like it was storing all your nightmares in it and a couple of dead bodies.

For some strange reason, I didn't feel bad for leaving Sean and Mitchell behind. It's like I knew they were going to be okay.

Lexi must have been thinking about then too, because she looked back at the maze, as if she was hoping Sean and Mitchell would come walking down the path.

Surprisingly, they did.

Mitchell waved at us and Sean trailed behind him, looking at the ground with an unfocused look on his face.

"Are you guys okay?" Lexi asked, making Sean look up.

Mitchell and Sean nodded.

"Shall we venture on into the forest?" Graser asked, as if he were a professor. By this time, I had gladly let go of Graser's hand and Lexi let go of Jordan's hand.

Everyone nodded, except me, because I rolled my eyes instead.

"Okay, let's go!"

*1 Hour Later*

We've been walking for about an hour and my feet are starting to hurt.

"Should we stop for a while?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's getting late." Sean said, pointing up at the purple and pink sky. I could barely see it, thanks to the tree's canopy.

Suddenly, 6 tents popped in front of Graser (who was at the front). There was a neon blue one, a dark green one, a red plaid one, a dark grey one, a purple one, and a strawberry red one.

We discussed whose was whose tent and figured it out in less than 15 seconds.

Lexi got the neon blue one, Jordan got the dark green one, I got the red plaid one, Graser got the dark grey one (thought, he was really confused why it was grey), Sean got the purple one, and Mitchell got the red-ish pink one.

I went inside my tent and found there was a sleeping bag that matched the tent. I got in it and went to sleep, hoping this whole thing would be over soon so I could see my family again.
