(A/N: Sorry, this is a shorter chapter.)

-Mitchell's POV-

I had just watched Sean get pulled into the wall of green vines. Lexi tried to help him, but she was too slow.

"What... What just happened?" Graser asked, sounding as shocked as I felt.

"I don't-" I was cut off short by a vine that came out of the right wall, curling around my mouth like duct tape. Before I could rip it off, a couple more vines came out and grabbed my arms and legs. And then I was pulled into the wall, as simple as that.

Inside the wall, all I could see was dark green shapes, probably the vines that made up the wall. I felt myself moving fast, like I was in a car that was going 70 miles an hour. I couldn't hear anything or taste anything, so those senses were out.

'Why would I even taste anything?'

Unless...

'No, you are not going to eat a vine.' I told myself.

"You have other options, other than your senses." An echo-y voice said, aka, the hooded guy.

I couldn't see him, but at least it told me that my hearing was working.

'Okay, Mitchell. The other options are...' I started thinking hard, but I stopped after realized I didn't need to.

'My powers. God, sometimes I'm an idiot.' I admitted.

I felt my hand warming up and saw a bright orange shapes instead of dark green shapes. I felt myself stop moving, which relieved me for some reason.

But I wasn't relieved for long.

After a couple seconds, I felt like I was falling down a cliff.

My natural reaction was to scream, so I did.

5 seconds later, I was standing on the same exact spot I was standing before I was pulled into the wall. There was no one in sight, so I was alone.

I shrugged off the whole 'situation' that just happened and walked down the path.

"Mitchell!" Someone yelled.

I turned around and saw Sean, standing in the same place he was in before he got taken, looking either scared or shocked. I don't know. I couldn't tell.

I ran back to him, wondering if he had the same experience I had.

"Did I... Was I here the whole time or...?" He trailed off.

"No, you got pulled into the wall. I got pulled in too." I said.

"Did you... see them?" He asked.

"See who?"

"See, y'know... your family."

"No, did you?"

He hesitated and looked like he was about to nod, but he shook his head instead.

"Should we continue down the path?" I asked.

This time, he did nod.

"Alright, then. Let's go."
