-Jordan's POV-
"Jordan?! What just happened?!" Lexi asked, as I ran with her.
"I'll explain later!" I shouted, as we ran from... well, you know who. I forced myself to stop being shy, possibly for the sake of our lives.
"How- but, who was that?!" Lexi tried to ask.
"It was Herobrine." I replied, darting past some trees.
"Okay, hold up." She threw her hands up, slowing down. "Okay, so I've already lost you once. And I'm not going to lose you again! So, can we stick together?"
"I'll try! We just need to get the hell out of here!" I yelled back at her, not stopping.
"'Doesn't seem like it!" She called from behind. "Where are we going, anyway?!"
"Anywhere safe, I guess!"
"So, that would be, out of this forest?!"
"Yeah!"
"Where do you think the other's are?" She asked, catching up to me.
"I don't know. Probably doing the same thing we are."
"Hey, did you find any statues while you were lost? I did." Lexi asked.
"Nope. I just found an angry Herobrine, that's all." I said casually, making Lexi laugh.
"Hey, did he actually try to choke you?" Lexi asked, trying to catch her breath.
"Yeah. I slipped out of his grip, though." I stopped running and looked at Lexi. "Do you know how tall that guy is?"
"I don't know, 7 feet?"
"More like 10 feet." I said, rolling my eyes, earning another giggle from Lexi. We made a mental agreement, at that time, and decided that we've had enough running and started walking instead.
'See, Jordan? When you're not shy, you can make people laugh.' A part of me said to myself.
"Anyways, I saw two statues, both of them were guys." She paused, probably thinking. "One of them had a backwards hat on and a jacket, and the other one had a striped shirt and a huge smile. And you'll never guess what happened."
"What?"
"The statue talked."
"Oh, it must've been a statue hologram." I said, remembering back when I first saw one of those.
"A what?"
"Oh, um. Statue holograms are pretty much holograms that look like statues, but they can reply to comments. And they're only used to warn people, or in some cases, scare the living hell of them." I joked.
She tried to force herself to stop laughing. "And you know this, how?"
"Oh, um... Reseach?" I lied.
"Suuure." She rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "Anywho, the second statue, the one that talked, said that you guys would become friends with him, and then I would meet him. He also said he is going to become best friends with Liam and Mitchell." She paused. "Well, he didn't directly say that, I just guessed."
"Hm.." I pondered. How would we meet him? Why do we meet him?
"What do you think you're power is?" She asked.
"Um, I don't know." I lied, not wanting to say it. I'm 100% sure that I'll get it that power... (A/N: OH, C'MON, JORDAN! WHY WON'T YOU TELL US?!)
"I think mine will have something to do with music." She stated, smiling. "I love music." She paused, frowning. "Holy crap, that sounded cheesy."
I nodded."Yeah, it did."
"Hey, hey, what's that?!" Lexi asked, pointing in the distance. Before I could even ask, she dashed over in that direction.
I ran behind her and gasped as we came up to the scene.
The trees were on fire.
"Someone lit them on fire... I can tell." Lexi muttered, stepping towards a burnt stump. "See this?" She pointed to a black mark on the tree. "They were either trying to do the 'rub sticks together' fire technique, or..." She paused, looking at me. I nodded, my mind figuring out the culprit.
"Mitchell."
