-Sean's POV-

It's been an hour since I've seen someone and I'm beginning to lose all of my hope that I'll find the others.

I sighed and found a stump with a smooth surface, making it sort of like a chair. I sat on it and rested my elbows on my knees. I stared at the forest floor, trying to think about where they were and what they could be doing.

"You look like you are about to give up." A familiar, but creepy voice said, also known as Herobrine.

I groaned, looked up from the spot of dirt, and saw Herobrine looking down at me with his glowing, soulless eyes. "What do you want?" I snapped.

"Nothing." He said innocently. "I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to see your family again." Before I could answer, he continued. "But no, no. I understand. Can't trust an evil god." He said, beginning to walk away.

"Wait!" I yelled, standing up from my stump.

The god stopped and turned around to face me. "Yes?"

"I... I want to see my family again." I admitted.

"You do?" He asked, his mouth suddenly twitched into a wicked smile. But I didn't pay attention. I just wanted my family.

"Y-Yes."

"Are you willing to pay the price?" The powerful and great god asked. I nodded, at that moment, not caring what the 'price' was.

"Perfect."

"Perfect wha-" Before I could finish my sentence, a tingling feeling went through me, followed by a shock of pain and lastly, a sudden burst of pride. It felt like every thought from the past 5 minutes was erased from my memory.

"Feel any different, Sean?" Master asked.

"I feel fine, Master. Thank you for asking." I smiled. Master smiled back and began to walk away. "Follow me, Sean." He said.

I followed him obediently, occasionally ducking under tree branches and brushing leaves away.

"We're here." He whispered, motioning for me to stay behind him. I nodded back, even though he didn't see it.

I peaked out from his back and saw a guy standing a couple feet away from Master. He looked scared to death. A part of me thought I knew him, but again, it felt like the thought was erased from my memory.

"I'm n-not coming back." The guy stuttered. "Not now, not ever!"

"Suit yourself." Master started, waving carelessly at the guy. "But I have something that you might need."

"What?" The guy asked, raising an eyebrow.

"This." Master motioned for me to come out and I did. For some strange reason, I wanted to smirk at him and give him the impression that I was evil. So I did that, too.

The guy gasped at the sight of me, showing that my smirk had done the trick. "You- How dare you!" He yelled, raising his shaking fist. "He has nothing to do with this!"

"I'm afraid he has a lot to do with this." Master smiled, turning towards me. "Would you like to do the honors?"

"Sure, just-"

I was cut off by a sudden rush of thoughts and memories. Jordan. Graser. Liam. Mitchell. Lexi. Challenges. Powers. Herobrine. I was reminded how I got here, why I was here, what happened, and what I was about to do.

I shook my head quickly, thinking that the evil god just controlled me. I looked up at him, reading his shocked expression.

"Did you just..." I trailed off, feeling as shocked as Herobrine looked. The shocked feeling disappeared in a couple of seconds and was replaced with anger.

"How did you-" Herobrine started, but before he could respond, I swung at him and hit his cheek. He stumbled backwards, not expecting that to happen.

Suddenly, I felt like I was holding something heavy, but not heavy at the same time. It was weird.

I ignored it and swung at him again, but this time, a bunch of sharp twigs and sticks joined me and started poking and slashing at him. Herobrine glared in response and then teleported away.

"Where did those sticks come from?" I asked the guy. Seconds later, my brain registered the guy as Jordan.

"Th-That's... That's you." He answered shakily.

"What?" I asked, turning around to face him. Instead, I was facing the twigs and sticks.

But they were floating.

The skinny pieces of wood and bark were floating in mid-air.

"Whoa..." I muttered. I reached out and touched one of the sticks, but, all at once, they collapsed onto the ground in a neat pile.

"That's your power." Jordan said. "You have telekinesis."

"Really?!" I asked, beginning to smile. I started thinking of all the things I could do with this. "I wonder if I can shoot 5 arrows at once!" I thought aloud. "Or shoot with 5 bows!" I exclaimed.

Excitement and curiosity began to take over and I found myself walking away, searching for a weapon.

"Hey, wait! Where are you going?!" Jordan asked.

"I'm going to look for a bow and and arrow." I stated, looking in bushes.

"There's not going to be a bow and arrow laying in a bush." He said. "Think about it."

I sighed and stopped searching. "You're probably right." I agreed, looking back at him. "I'm still... recovering from... whatever just happened." I said awkwardly.

"He was mind-controlling you. It'll take about 10 to 30 minutes for your common sense to come back." He explained. I didn't think to ask him how he knew this.

"Oh."

"We should head back now."

"Head where?"

Jordan pointed at the sky that was now slowly being turned grey by smoke.

"We're going to fly to the smoke?! How in the world will we do that?!"

"The smoke is from Mitchell. Graser, Lexi, Mitchell, and I said that Mitchell would act as a flare."

"Oh." I repeated.

"Let's go."
