i wanted to go home
i walked down somber streets, into neighborhoods i've never been before
i ran into you
your bright eyes and lively heart tricked me into comfort
in between your flaws, i found you wondrous
in between my flaws, you found sadness
i was looking for home, and there i found you
i made myself a room and i gave you everything i had
the same things you would use to ruin me
i gave you my heart, only to feel emptiness in return
everyone wants to fall in love, but thanks to you i know love hurts
in the end, i know i won, even if i'm the only one left empty-handed
because i can still love with all of me, and you can't even fucking understand it
