I woke up to the sound of my alarm and it was 7:15 i was late so i jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom i brushed my teeth, showered, i dried my hair and tied it up in a messy bun, i didn't do a lot of makeup just a bit of mascara and eyeliner, i raided my closet and found a simple top and jeans, it was just work so why think about what your wearing...

I got my bag, locked the doors and ran out to grab a taxi, after we reach Starbucks i pay the guy and run in, i saw Brent at the counter when he saw me he signaled me to come soon, i went in and grabbed my apron,

I put it on and went to where Brent was,
"whats up?" i whispered to Brent while taking an order,
"Your late, Luke is coming in today and Maggie said that he will be sending 2 workers to another outlet here in San Francisco," he whispered back taking the money from the customer and putting in the cash register,
Luke is the Manager of all the Starbucks outlets here in San Francisco, and Maggie is the boss here,
"Oh who do you think he will Pick?" i asked and turned to the back where the coffee was made "1 ICED WHITE CHOCOLATE MOCHA WITH WHIP CREAM..." i yelled and a guy inside said "coming up"
The day went on as usual Luke came in, in disguise and observed after a while he called me and a girl named Stacy in, he asked us if we wanted to move, he even said he will increase our salary, Stacy said yes but i said no i couldn't leave everything and specially Brent and Lexi and just move, i told him i couldn't and he said he understood and asked another employee he said yes, they spoke for a while and he left...
"Hey what happened with Luke? why'd he call you in," Brent asked a bit curious,
"Oh he told me not to get late again," I lied which i hate to do but he would feel guilty cause i let this opportunity down all because of him and Lexi, well to be honest it wasn't entirely about them i just wasn't ready to move i liked it here,

Amanda just lied to me about what Luke said I know cause he wasn't even here when she got here, unless he checked the time she signed in which he isn't jobless to do, i don't know but i feel like she is lying....
