<p>Pete decided to take patrick out for a celebratory birthday meal because they have barely been out and it's a good occasion. But in reality pete just wanted to ask to omega to mate with him when he next heat comes which is next month. He has it marked in his calendar as well as his rut which is the week before... That should be interesting.</p>
<p>Patrick got really exited for the mean and slipped into the pretty little black dress that he got, and kept the thigh high socks on. And if pete though so himself he looked really good. The alpha knows what he is getting for dessert and it's not sold by the restaurant they're going to.</p>
<p>Long story short, they drove to the restaurant. Well, pete drove. And they got seated. They made small talk ordered their meal then gazed lovingly in each other eyes while pete was mentally making a speech to ask patrick.</p>
<p>"You look stunning" pete said holding Patricks soft delicate hands in his own.</p>
<p>A faint blush appeared on the omegas cheeks and he smiled shyly,</p>
<p>"Thank you" he mumbled,</p>
<p>The coughed faintly and Patricks head shot up to his. Nows your chance pete. Ask him!!!!</p>
<p>"Patrick..."</p>
<p>He was cut puff by the waiter placing their food on the table. He mentally cursed their cockblocking asses and fakery smiled and thanked them. Patrick did the same but his smile was genuine. They are in a peaceful silence and got desert to go.</p>
<p>Since the night was still young and they can't just have dinner then go home and sleep, pete decided to take patrick for a walk in the park. They both linked arms and Patrick leaned against pete smiling with adoration. He was truly cherishing this moment.</p>
<p>"Patrick. I have to ask you something" pete said rather flatly.</p>
<p>Patrick experienced a mix of emotion and fear struck his eyes. This was the fear of rejection. He was afraid that pete will get rid of him.</p>
<p>"Yes" he whispered,</p>
<p>"I know you have only been here a week and I do wish we met on a different circumstance but, patrick. I think I'm in love with you"</p>
<p>The omegas eyes snapped up to look into the alphas, he saw honesty and live in those whiskey brown eyes and he smiled brightly. Kissing pete passionately on the lips, wrapping arms around him while the alphas hands rested on his hips.</p>
<p>"I love you too" patrick replied,</p>
<p>Pete smiled brightly and pulled patrick in for another kiss. Ask him now!</p>
<p>"Will you mate with me?" He asked nervously,</p>
<p>Patrick nodded enthusiastically and reaped his head on petes shoulder, shuddering when a gust of wind swept past then and wishes he brought his cardigan with him.</p>
<p>Pete chuckled deeply and took his blazer of and placed it on the omegas shoulders. Patrick was immediately greeted with warmth and a sense of security and relaxation from the alphas scent of musk and the forest clinging to the clothing. He nuzzled close to petes side as they walked back to the car. Happy and buzzes knowing they will mate when his heat next arrives.</p>
<p>Pete was thinking they should at least end the perfect day with a cliché romance movie. Patrick agreed and then rushed to pick out a movie. Pete went into the kitchen to get them both a decent serving of the large birthday cake settled in a box on the counter.</p>
<p>And he did have to admit it looked amazing. He should give Gerard and Mikey more credit for their bakery and praise them on the short notice because they got it all done within a day and their demand to cakes and other bakes was high. Yet they went out of their way to make pete a cake for patrick. Who they have never met.</p>
<p>Pete smiled when he thought of Patricks exited face when he saw the cake and decoration this morning. He wanted patrick to be happy like that all day everyday.</p>
<p>He grabbed the plate with a large chunk of the cake placed on. What? Add to the romance and feed each other cake. He walked into the sitting room to find patrick curled up in a blanket with his usual pyjamas of one of petes incredibly too big Tshirts, watching the play screen for imitation game. Which is an amazing movie. while waiting patiently for pete.</p>
<p>Pete smiled at the omega as he sat down and patrick covered the alpha I the blanket and immediately cuddled into his side as he pressed the play button to watch the movie. They waved the film in a comfortable silence, feeding each other the cake and sharing sweet kisses. Pete felt happy and loved the omega and for once he had to thank brendon for bringing them together.</p>
<p>They watched another two films and pete looked down to see patrick passed out with his head in the alphas lap.<br />
He smiled at patrick and picked him up carefully to carry him to their room. He likes the sound of it. He managed to turn the TV off and all the lights downstairs with patrick still in his arms and then went on the trek upstairs to their room.</p>
<p>Pete carefully placed patrick on the bed and covered him in the silk sheets. Which he changed before they went out. Realising he didn't after the omegas heat. Like wtf pete!</p>
<p>He quickly got into a pair of sweatpants and got in next to patrick, who on instinct unconsciously moved closer to pete and relaxed further. Pete pulled the omega close and buried his nose into his hair breathing in the familiar strawberry scent and relaxing. He allowed sleep to consume him and he felt happy with the omega in his arms.</p>
