<p>Pete felt tears stream down his cheeks when he set eyes upon his omega.</p>
<p>He was lying on the bed lifeless. A small patch of blood by his mouth and he was more pale than usual. Pete felt like crying.</p>
<p>"No. No. No. No patrick" he cried rushing towards the omega to hold his cold hand,</p>
<p>Patricks eyes were closed and he looked peaceful, like he was sleeping. But it was unknown when he would wake up.</p>
<p>"Come on patrick. Please don't leave me!"</p>
<p>Pete was properly crying now. He couldn't stop the rush of emotions, his omega was most likely dieing in front of him and the alpha didn't know what to do.</p>
<p>But he could feel that small amount of hope that the omega would be fine.</p>
<p>He let the tears roll freely as he held Patricks hand and rubbed circles on his palm with his thumb.</p>
<p>Then he felt it.</p>
<p>Patrick was there, in their bond. He could feel him returning to their bond and it made pete feel whole again.</p>
<p>He wiped the tears away and leaned over patrick, he placed his hands on the omegas cheeks and looked at his pale face,</p>
<p>"Patrick? Baby?"</p>
<p>The alpha rubbed his thumbs over patrick cheeks and caressed his face, trying to get a reaction out of the omega. He nearly felt like crying in happiness when he felt him stir.</p>
<p>"Can you hear me?"</p>
<p>The tone of pete's voice was desperate, he needed the omega. He was still so young and he hasn't lived life yet. Patrick needed to be ok. He had to be.</p>
<p>Patrick started moving more and mumbling incoherent words in a small whisper, pete felt a jolt of happiness that immediately disappeared when Patricks emotions came rushing in.</p>
<p>Pain.</p>
<p>That was all pete was feeling when the emotions came to him. Patrick groaned in pain and moved his hands to hold petes.</p>
<p>"It hurts" he whined in pain,</p>
<p>Petes heart broke all over again seeing his omega in so much pain.</p>
<p>"I'm going to phone the paramedics baby ok?"</p>
<p>Patrick pulled a face of a wince and groaned loudly, pete was quick to pull his phone out and call the paramedics.</p>
<p>As soon as the call ended pete was moving on the bed to cradle patrick In his arms.</p>
<p>"Where does it hurt baby?"</p>
<p>The omega never said a word, he only placed a hand on his lower abdomen then pulled petes hand to rest there,</p>
<p>Fresh tears streamed down the omegas face as pete cradled him. The alpha felt useless at that moment.</p>
<p>But he then breathed a sigh of relief when the paramedics came rushing in and taking patrick on the stretcher.</p>
<p>Pete told the babysitter to look after the twins till he gets back then hopped into the ambulance with patrick and they took the long journey to the hospital.</p>
