A/N: Hi! So the past few chapters have just been about Keith, now it's Pidge's turn! Today's song is a cover that puts me in the feels called The Scientist.

This chapter's a bit "lighter" than the last one. It also starts the night before Keith's chapters (his chapters were all in one day). I apologize for not uploading sooner T_T I've been testing all week and I'm just really busy with stuff. Please understand!

Have fun reading ^^

A very smart inventor named Pidge, was up late at night, crying his pain away. He couldn't sleep and the fight downstairs didn't help. His parents were arguing about their daughter, Katie, not their son, Pidge. It frustrated him and his family.

He caved in and reached for his phone. Once he put it near his face, a bright light blinded him. He sat up then put his handy spectacles (glasses) on his nose bridge and pushed them up. His vision was immediately clear when he looked through the lenses.

He sniffed several times as he unlocked his electronic device. He went on his 'Contacts' app and scrolled until he saw the name, 'Hunk.' He pressed on the icon and called him. He put the phone next to his ear and listened to a ringing sound as he waited for his best friend to answer.

"C' mon... pick up..." Pidge whispered.

Suddenly, a familiar voice spoke. "Hey, Pidge."

"Hey Hunk," Pidge said, trying to disguise his 'stuffy' voice. "You busy?"

"Nope, not really. I just finished eating dinner so you called me at the right time, my friend. Why? You need something?"

"Kind of, yeah." He paused, "My parents are having another fight... about Katie."

"Again? Damn. I know how messed up those conversations can get between them. You feeling okay?"

"I'm managing... somehow."

"That's good. You're being strong about it."

"Doesn't feel like it though..."

"It might not but you are. You just don't see it."

"I wish I could. It feels like forever since I've gotten a break to do anything."

"Well, we're growing up. You're starting to get busier so of course, you'd feel that way."

Pidge giggled, "If only I could grow up. I'm stuck in a body I've always hated. It seems like nothing has changed in the past 3 years..."

"Things will one day, I promise you that."

"I hope that day comes soon..."

"It will. For now, just try to look on the bright side of things."

"I'll try my best."

"Good." Hunk asked, "Anyways, is there anything I can do that'll make you feel better?"

"Actually... yes, but I don't want to bother you."

"Dude, you never bother me. I appreciate you caring for whether or not you're wasting my time, but you shouldn't because you never do."

"Oh... thanks Hunk."

"Anytime bud. Now, would you mind spilling the Addison tea?"
