~The next day~

11:06 PM

Pidge had to work late that day. At 7:30 PM, he had to go to a meeting that talked about clients and their up-coming procedures, regarding their conditions. This didn't end until 10:50 PM. Afterward, he was given the task to schedule his future therapy sessions for the next 2 weeks. And since he wanted to get to Hunk's place immediately after work, he had to park his car at the back of the clinic. He was very busy.

But so was Keith.

Keith was putting together an outfit (in the dark) that he wouldn't usually wear. He had multiple things in his small closet so he had a lot to choose from. He could've dressed up like a non-intimidating biker if he really wanted to of course. It was like a tiny treasure chest that was filled with gold.

In the end, he picked something that was certainly different for him. He wore a black beanie on his head and grey jeans to match. He had a dark red jacket that was tied around his waist, and a white t-shirt that had a ballerina logo on the front. He even switched his usual footwear with black tennis shoes. He was almost dressed to bail.

When he finally got his clothes situated, he adjusted his handy spectacles as he jogged to his bathroom. Next, he stopped at the sink and looked at himself in the mirror. He smirked excitedly and grabbed his eye contacts that were placed in a holder. He carefully placed it in the jeans' right pocket and sighed.

Then, he went back to his room. He spotted his notebook and a pencil on his bed. He put the writing utensil in the left compartment and carried the journal to his room's locked entrance. He delicately dropped it on the floor. After that, he walked back to his closet and grabbed a clothing hanger.

He traveled back to the entryway, sat on the floor, and looked at the doorknob. He inserted the hook into the crevis that was between the side of the knob and the wall then slid it all the way down to the latch. He clung onto the sides of the hanger and moved the object in an up-and-down motion.

His brain was racing with excitement. So many thoughts of enthusiasm were entering and leaving his head. He was really eager to know what was gonna happen next. He knew what the next chapter of his life was going to be like (after these next few moments) and was prepared for it. He had full control over the future events that would affect him and decided to do something risky with the present.

But he loved risky. He loved taking chances. He loved the feeling of adventure. He was ecstatic. He was ready for his daring fate.

BEEP! BEEP!! BEEP!!! BEEP!!!! BEEP!!!!! The hospital's alarm rang loudly.

Keith's locked door was now open. He grabbed his notebook and began to run.

Pidge suddenly heard the powerful noise and started to freak out. He got up, ran to the front of his workplace, and opened the exit. He looked outside and saw well-built and tough looking guards, running like there was no tomorrow.

"What happened?!" He asked worryingly. "Is anyone hurt?!"

One of the protectors heard his burdening questions and yelled as he ran, "Patient 269 escaped his room!! He's on the loose!!!"
