"What the heck?!" Nova thought out loud as she read the paper again,she was filled with so much confusion she didn't know how to react to it,'Nova calm down,there should be an explanation to this,maybe she was there.Oh my gosh! I was right it was her. Wait let's stop jumping into conclusion,maybe Ms.Venies noticed a chocolate in my bag and had to ask,yeah that's it!' Nova stopped to the theory she finally came up with and turned the paper over once again searching for her start date. She walked back inside of her house and place all her books on her queen size bed which had been covered with a black colored sheet that was decorated with bold red roses,"Novi,did you find the date you'll start school?" her grandmother now entering Nova's small but cozy room."Yes I found it,I start in November." "Hey,what's that behind the paper?" grandmother toke Nova's schedule and read the back,"Hmm,a secret admirer I see?" Nova couldn't contain her laughter and burst out in a laugh that can wake up the neighbors,"No nana,remember those chocolates we tried last time?". "You mean the fancy ones?" "Yes those,well there was this women who suggested them to me ,she said they were good,well anyways I had one left in my bag and I think Ms.Venies saw it and I guess she wondered how it tasted." "But how she did know what they were?". That was a great question Nova's grandmother had asked putting Nova back into thought and then realizing the wrapper herself,"Oh!well maybe because it has the name at the top."as she stocked the unwrapped chocolate and letting it melt in her mouth just like the women said. Nova let the chocolate melt in her mouth tasting all of it's bits and pieces that put the chocolate together.

Nova and her grandmother soon after accompanied by her grandfather sat to eat supper as Nova noticed the time ticking slowly hoping it would go faster so she can finally start school. She wanted to do anything but wait for time to pass,sick and tired of all the waiting and nothing happening and all the fake promises made her aggravated to the thought.

Halloween was soon to arrive and Nova loved this time of year,she could be anyone she wanted to be and that is what she wanted to be in this real world anyone but her. She hated who she was and the poison the world buried in her soul,she was young too young when the world began planting seeds of pain in her. She saw people die and those who were close lied to the faces of the innocent,her father cheated on her mother,she tried to pick up the pieces of her broken heart but later noticing it was missing a lot of her heart it was too late to turn and look for them,the hypocrite world toke her innocence and now she was here wishing she could be someone else. She got ready to go out once halloween arrived,her costume was dark and and the only color she had was the deep red on her lips and nails her costume was eye catching,a short black leather skirt,a black leather jacket that covered a small black tank top that exposed only her curves and a belly button piercing,her combat boots strapped in tight and her hair straighten down making her hair length longer. Nova was on her way with her cousin to a costume party her new school had and as they drove into the ballrooms parking ,they both heard the thumps of the music,"Novelie are you ready to go to your first university party?"they both knew parties at school sucked but Nova's cousin Amy seemed to think it was better than staying home doing nothing. Amy with her kitty costume grabbed Nova and headed in the entrance of the ball room where pumpkin lanterns hung from the top if the door frame and skeletons covered the doors and a black clothe covered the entrance which Amy had to part and enter where the schools dance toke place in. As they entered,the bodies covered the dance floor where lights if different colors and sizes moved around according to the rythm of the music.

Nova knew Amy since they were kids but because she moved to California,they both barely were able to go out together,but even though it's been a while Nova knew that Amy always left the people she came in with and left with someone else. Amy is a senior at the university so she knew many people at the party and just as Nova expected,Amy was already gone and swallowed by all the colored costume bodies on the dance floor.

She sat watching everyone dance and her soul enjoyed the rhythmic music,not being bothered by not being able to dance but she knew that it was better to dance than waists time sitting when she could do the same at her house,'Heck this is a university COSTUME party no one would recognize a lonely person dancing on her own.'Nova thought to herself as she got up heading towards the center of the dance floor where the bodies tightened around her.l and seemed to expose their body heat and letting the music play in her thoughts,and letting it take control of her body,letting it penetrate deep in her soul,she moved smoothly with the beat of the music,her eyes closed only imagining herself alone,allowing the music make it's way to her broken soul and taking control of her body. She moved her arms smoothly across the air letting the air touch her soft skin,she moved her body slowly with the beat if the music,she let the night wash away all her thoughts,all her doubts,she let herself be free. As she danced she felt a soft welcoming presence behind her but she just danced away even the heat that surrounded her,she felt hands lightly touch her sides waiting for an approval it for rejection but Nova moved her hands down to where the other hands were and welcomed them and she felt the body move closer still leaving an empty space in between them. Nova turned facing the body still dancing to the best of the music with her eyes closed and let the music circle over her body, both the bodies moving in synchronization,and Nova's hands caressing the body that danced with her,the warmth that she felt made her want to get closer to whom she was dancing with and so she did their bodies pressed together moving as one. The breath of Nova's dancer was hot to her neck and the waves of pleasure warm to Nova's body,the air between them was filled with seduction both wanting to feel alive. Nova felt her dancers hands move lightly across her back sending chills down her heated body,she felt pleasure rise between them as they danced Nova's could feel their faces close to each other,she felt alive but there was more between them that Nova couldn't explain but it was in her heart something sweet like candy something passionate.

The music finally stopped to only open her eyes up to silver eyes that were looking back at hers feeling as if her inner thoughts were being read. Suddenly being pulled away by Amy,Nova didn't see who the person was because her face was covered with a masquerade mask and she had a purple colored wig on. She turned to see where Amy was taking Nova to,soon noticing they were headed back to the car,"Amy what's wrong?". As tears fell down Amy's cheeks she said as she sobbed,"He was with someone else !I just want to get the hell out of here,lets go!" Nova didn't have to ask,even though she do didn't know that Amy had a boyfriend and by the looks of it Amy caught him with someone else,Nova saw these typical problems in high school so she knew what it will all turn to,Amy forgiving him and possibly later breaking up.

Nova finally arrived home after dropping Amy off and coming home to a dark house just with one light that was down a hallway where her room was. After changing into a red silky sleeping dress she just laid on her bed staring at her ceiling just thinking what had happened on the dance floor of the school party and the silver eyes that started back at her with devotion.'Who was she?Her eyes were beautiful and how she touched me made my skin crawl with heat.'As she thought of the hands caressing her body while dancing,her hands started touching her soft skin tracing patterns feeling warm every time she though about it,the heat built higher and her nails lighting digging in her skin,she noticed how out if control she was and forced herself to stop,'NOVA you are not gay,you were just dancing and someone decided to join you,calm down' she thought to herself as she closed her eyes to sleep
