it's been two months since yoongi passed away and this was the most hoseok has suffered since he first found out when yoongi died. it was finally the day that he was going to meet up with taehyung to help him figure out his sexuality. because of it, he's suffering as well.

it wasn't about his relationship with taehyung. it was actually about his relationship with yoongi that was suddenly cut off when yoongi decided to commit suicide. hoseok knew that he already let go of yoongi, but he also knew that he didn't competely let go of yoongi. he only let go of his attachment to yoongi.

his feelings, emotions and heart hasn't let go of his love with yoongi. he really did want to move on and continue this era of his life with taehyung, but once again, he was stuck. it was because of the last bit of his lingering feelings towards yoongi that's stopping him from completely moving on.

taehyung is also conflicted, and hoseok could tell. taehyung didn't know what to do. he was slowly falling for hoseok, but he didn't want to betray his favourite cousin.

before yoongi died, taehyung lost contact with him for 3 years but heard from his family members that yoongi had a boyfriend. now that yoongi was gone and taehyung met hoseok, who was yoongi's boyfriend, he didn't know what to do with himself. is he supposed to ignore the guilt and run into hoseok's arms? or is he supposed to ignore his feelings and act as if he doesn't have any? he doesn't know which one would be less painful.

he already figured out that he was bisexual, he just didn't tell hoseok yet. he already knew from the moment his heart would beat faster around hoseok and how he would blush slightly whenever hoseok was close to him. he knew that he had a crush on hoseok, he just didn't admit it to himself and hoseok. he knew that it was unfair to hoseok by keeping him hanging, but he had to figure it out by himself first.

the two of them were already in love with each other despite the odds. for hoseok, he actually didn't want to fall in love when he just lost the love of his life. for taehyung on the other hand, he just walked into the love blindly. he didn't even notice until it was way too late for him to back out.

if they both knew that this would happen, would they still be willing to fall in love like this? for hoseok, yes. he was the type of romantist that wouldn't let go of true love if he found it no matter what happened to him and his partner. perhaps that was why yoongi enjoyed his prescence so much. taehyung probably wouldn't be so willing. he spent his whole life thinking he was straight until hoseok came and messed it up for him. still, now that he's already gone this far, he can't back out anymore.

as usual, they met at the park. hoseok knew something was very off with taehyung with just one look at him. he wasn't loud and cheerful. in fact, he was the exact opposite. something inside hoseok cringed at the fact that taehyung was so serious, but he hid it to not hurt taehyung.

taehyung didn't even swing on the swings while waiting for him. instead, he was actually sitting on the bench, which gave hoseok the vibe that taehyung was definitely not kidding around like he usually was. hoseok quietly sat down beside taehyung and didn't utter a single word.

"i called you here for a reason, and i'm pretty sure you're wondering what it is. from the looks of it, you could probably tell that whatever i'm going to tell you next, it's going to be completely serious." taehyung spoke quietly, looking at hoseok. hoseok subconciously avoided taehyung's eyes and just nodded.

"yeah, i could tell. you're usually never this serious, so this is obviously gonna be some big shit that's happening." hoseok replied quietly, making their entire conversation awkward. taehyung spoke up after a moment of silence between the two. "i'm glad that you're taking this as seriously as i am."
