CHAPTER 7: SAME ROUTE

At last, I got home. My drive was like 10mins. Nawala yung lasing ko. I parked my car in the garage and went straight at the door.

Good morning maam Bea.

Baaaah!! Manang. Hahaha. Nagulat mo naman ako. Uhm, teka inantay nyo po ako?

Opo maam, Nagaalala po kasi ako. Eto po tubig.

Salamat. I got the glass and then drank all of it. Straight.

Okay manang first thing in the morning ipaalala mo saakin na bumili ng relo. Hahaha. Osya. Thanks ulet. I kissed her cheeks and then went straight up, quietly.

The next morning, I woke up when the sun hit my eyes.

Hmmm. Baaaaah! Ponggs! Ano ba?! Ang aga mo naman dito! Scratching my eyes.

Anong nangyari sayo kagabi?! Bat wala ka mang lang reply sa mga texts ko?! Sinung kasama mo?! Anong ginawa nyo?! Saan ka gal....

Maddie. I reached for my phone and scroll thru messages.

Hoy kinakausap kita.

I held my index finger to her. She rolled her eyes at me. Maddie texted me again at 4am, she's still awake at that time. Siguro nag aantay sya ng text ko kung nakauwi na ba ako.

I hoped your safe and fine. If you're still at the bar, please don't drink anymore, and stay away from those girls. They're trouble. I know a lot of like that in the States. Please text me when you got home.

Sinu ba yan? Nakangiti na sya ngayon.

Hangover, drink this. She handed over a glass of green liquid.

Gago, just.... trust me okay? She winked. I drank the smoothie. It was so good that I almost drank the whole glass in one go. Besides I don't need gayuma noh? Sa ganda kon.....
