~Everybody's damaged. It's just a question of how badly, and whether you're healing or still bleeding.

********************************

three days had past since the incidence had happened between Steve and Betty. Everyone was on edge about it. Never had they encountered something like this. They wouldn't call her broken no, because they believed they could help her. Somehow. They called her damaged. Not broken but damaged.

Betty on the other hand. She called her self a monster, a toy, puppet. Most I'm importantly she called her self broken. Broken beyond repair. She knew no one could help her mend together. Fuse what she had left of herself.
Hydra had done a number on her. To many to count. Every single one haunts her.

Natasha's head was thinking, trying to figure out what to do next. Snapping out of a trance she had been in, Natasha looked to Steve and Tony. They were having a heated discussion that much everyone could tell. The look on Steve's face and the posture Tony had confirmed it.

Tony stormed out the room, never glancing at anyone and slammed the innocent door shut. Everyone tore their eyes away from the door Tony exited from, and looked to Steve. His face showed distress, lines dancing across his forehead showing he had done this too many times in his ageless life, long fingers placed apon them rubbing slightly.

Gliding towards Steve, Natasha had begun thinking. What had happened to Betty? Something so bad that she didn't even know who Steve was. She didn't trust her own brother. Natasha saw how it affected him, Steve always getting lost in thoughts. A distant look in his eyes. Memories no doubt running through his head. Re-living the good times when he had his sister and best friend.

"We'll figure something out Steve. I know we will" Natasha Started. Steve glancing back down at a worn photo in his delicate hands, careful not to put any tears into the precious paper. "I-I knew her for a while. I don't know how long but it was between a year and a year and a half. We didn't become friends but we became comfortable with each other's company." Steve looked over to Natasha again, now though, with softer sky blue eyes. His gaze drinking in her appearance, noticing how she showed the tiniest bit of sorrow. About to say something but she cut him off before he could do so.

"There was this other guy, but I never saw his face. The two of them had a bond no one could break. I don't even think they had realised they had it. When no guards or superiors were present, they would stand close. Never touching, but close enough to visibly ease at one anothers presents." She breathed, before taking a deep breath.

"Did you ever catch their names? It could be useful to find out what happened to her Natasha." Steve stepped closer to her, awaiting her response, eager for any helpful insight.

"No, we only got her name. Never his, the red room said it was not important, he was only there for back up. Should anything happen. They called her Sargent Hollow. Though everyone thought them as scary, we all wanted the bond. The relationship they had. It was breathtaking to watch them fight. They never hurt one another, it was more playful. Sending each other glares that didn't mean a thing. Small genuine smiles played on their faces. Eyes dancing and roaming over bodies to seem intimidating. When really it was just an act. It was like this was the only time they had fun. So they cherished every second of it."
Natasha finished. A slight glaze in her eyes, from thinking back to certain memories.

Steve stood there shocked. Sure She opened up to Steve a little about the red room. But never had Natasha opened up this much. Nor had she put so much emotion into her words. Her memories she liked to lock away, she seemed to keep these ones close to her. She had looked up to Betty for so long, only for her to be ripped away.
