~~~~~~~~~~~~1932~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Newly thirteen year old Betty starts her walk to school, in the best mood. Steve walking beside her, at normal pace for once, noticed that his sister wasn't rushing to get to school. Betty was taking in the hot summers morning. She noticed the vibrant green leaves on trees, that were rustling from the soft nice breeze. The grass getting pushed down flat as Steve and herself walk across the field.
In the distance they can see the shape of the school, children walking and running to get inside the double doors. Some were in groups pushing their luck on time, looking every so often at the big clock just above the door frame outside. As they were getting closer and closer they see a figure leaning up against the bricks, one foot flat against the wall while the other plants itself on the floor keeping him upright so he doesn't fall over.
The figure Had his head down, hands in his pockets. Chocolate brown hair flopping to one side as his head was tilted. His dark cotton pants hang on his waist just on the hips. A beige shirt tucked poorly in with pieces that bubbled over the edge.
Hearing our feet walk closer his perfect steel blue eyes dart up and catch our faces. Quickly standing up properly, he takes long strides to us. He first engulfs Steve in a bear hug, but not squeezing too tight. Steve was sick, he had the flu, almost didn't make it again but once again he pulled through a week later and was back to normal old Stevie health. As best as that can be.
He then releases himself from Steve and steps over to me. Wrapping his arms around me and pulling me up off the floor. I don't squeal like other girls do, I only laugh and wrap my smaller arms around his neck bringing him closer. Once he puts me back onto solid ground we all take off to go into school before we're late. Again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~lunch~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lunch in hand, I make my way to the Cafeteria. Just as I am about to round the corner I get yanked back by someone. They twist me around so quickly I feel slightly dizzy. Before I can regain myself however I get slammed into the wall that's behind me.
Looking up, I realise who it was, Mary Joan. She's the school bully, or my personal bully, I don't understand why she does it but she does. Mary is so beautiful, she's tall, has dark chocolate brown eyes. He skin is flawless and she as fire red hair, not to mention skinny. I however are none of those, I'm short around 5'2, hazel green eyes, my body is quite curvy with thick thighs and enough fat on my arms to fly like a bird. A few spots dot their way on my face. The only thing we have in common is our hair.
Pulled out my thoughts she slaps me around the face, making it fly towards one side. As the left side of my face stings I turn my head back to her. Hazel green eyes boring into chocolate brown ones.
