Who I used to be, is not who I am now. Understand that.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hours had passed, nothing had happened yet. No one came to check on us, it was just Winter and I by ourselves in separate icy cells. Every so often one of us would do something to get the others attention, signalling that we had a small thought going on in our head, this would start a   convocation between us in hushed tones, not to alert any agents.
As we were in the middle of a discussion on why both of us had been getting these painful migraines, followed by a dream, we heard soft footsteps getting closer. Winters blue eyes captures my green ones, we knew what was about to happen. They found the target. This was our last chance at redemption, to prove we did not fail Peirce and Hydra.
Less than two minutes later, agents come marching down our hallway. Though they were marching their footsteps could hardly be heard, only a slight echo bounced of the scarred, gray, walls. Six men, clad in black combat suits, boots, helmets, the whole nine yards, round the corner.
When they get to either of our cells, agents come in and grab Winters and I's upper arms again. However, this time if wasn't so hard that it would leave a bruise (even if we can't feel the pain all that much) but it was still hard enough to make sure we can't wiggle out their grasp. Once again, like the millions of times before, they guide/drag us down the halls and to the room we had passed when we first came into the base.
Agents were still rushing around, hurrying to get what they needed before going back to their station with all their equipment sprawled out. Each one (except for the men guarding them) were dressed in white lab coats, none of them completely white obviously they had been used so much who knows what kind of substances where on them. Accompanying the lab coats where white smart dress shirts, along with black dress pants completing the uniform they were forced to wear.
Everything else we passed was a blur, they had turned and guided us to another door within the room so fast we didn't get a chance to study much that was held in the room. We were shoved down onto chairs this time, they wanted to dominate us. A second later, peirce again comes to give us our orders. In his hands was emulsion paper, he had photographs to show us.
Peirce hands us the pictures and we flick through them. It showed the dark skinned man arriving at an apartment block and walking in. It then showed him walking into an apartment. It was fairly bland, beige paint decorated the walls, a few pictures hung on the walls too. Our target was seeing someone, they were hiding out in the apartment of a person that wasn't friend nor foe. This was our final chance of success.
I look to Winter to see if he was done sifting through them, I see his eyes sweeping over the last few details of the picture. He then  looks back up to Peirce and hands them back. Peirce quickly places them from one hand to the other and softly places them into the agent hands that was next to him.
" Do You two finally understand what has to happen?" An annoyed tone falls through his lips, his tongue creating syllables to make the words he talks. It's as if his venomous words are slicing through your brain, picking it apart.
He was mocking us, acting as if we were children. Both of us, we knew this, but we were too scared to call him out on it. To stand up for ourselves. They would only put us back into the wiping machine. So, what we've done so many times that it now feels like it's mechanically embedded in us, we nod our heads while keeping a straight face. Showing no sign of emotion. Peirce's sinister smile creeps back onto his face, teeth showing the tiniest bit. His cheeks pulled back.
When he went we were told to take our masks off, so we did. Sliding them off around my mouth was heavenly, or what I assumed heaven to be like. I placed it on the table next to me, and I saw Winter do it too. We were then given a small rounded metal tub full of black 'war' paint. Knowing what to do with it, we smear it all over our face. The only thing we didn't cover was our nose downwards. The middle of  Winter and I's foreheads were covered and just under our eyes.
Our guns where handed back to us and we had been given motorcycles to get to our destination.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We get to our hiding place for our get away and park them. Behind us was fire exit and a ladder leading up to were we would snipe our target.

After we had climbed the rusty ladder, we walked until we were at the edge of the building we were standing on. The both of us got our guns out, I would be shooting the man twice while Winter would only be shooting the man once. It had not been us to decide who got to shoot more than the other, as of all our other choices Hydra made them.

We checked if our guns were loaded, when we saw that they were we pulled the guns to our one eye while the other eye was closed. I took a deep breath, as I do every time I'm about to make a kill, and I let it out through my nose. I was ready. Through the scope I saw a blonde haired man talking to the target. The white man with blonde hair made it easier to know where the target was. That was because of where the blondies eyes were focused at.

They were talking, what About? I had no clue, but it didn't matter. We were here to eliminate the target and get out. I aimed the pointer at the wall and shot my gun twice. Both went through the wall and into the target. Winter had also shot his gun perfectly. Three new holes now placed into the brick wall.

A lady bursts through the door with her own gun in hand, she looks around the room and talked to the blonde man. Their discussion was heated and clearly trust was not in their relationship. The blonde man walks over to the window and looks through it at us. He calls something to the woman and bursts through the window. He was rushing at us wanting to know who killed that man.

On his arm was a circular disk like thing, a shield that had red, white and blue painted on it. Without a second thought we gathered our things, placed them in the right sockets and ran. I was keeping the same pace as Winter and the man chasing us wasn't too far behind. Whoever this man was, he was similar to us. We jumped from one building to another that was a few feet away. As we were almost at the edge of the building we leaped onto, I heard something heavy get thrown into the air towards us. I stopped and turned around planting my vibranium leg on the ground (My leg shining from the sheet lamp light bouncing off), helping me to not fall over, and I held my shinny (also from the street lamp lights) vibranium arm out ready to catch whatever was thrown.

I turned round so fast that a whir of wind followed me making a slight 'whoosh', and caught it. I glanced down at what was thrown and I realise it was the shield. I look back up and see the blonde man looked at me with sky blue eyes filled with astonishment, he wasn't expecting me to catch it. I mean back slightly and bring my arm over my body. I then, with all my strength, throw the sheild back. The man caught it but it made him slide back a few feet from his original spot.

He looked down at the shield and where he was just a moment ago completely speechless, his mouth agape and eyes wide. When he looked back up we jumped off the roof and into an open window quickly shutting it after us, getting rid of our tracks. Walking deeper into the apartment we made sure we were quite, without making a sound we open the door and at it it behind us. Down the four flights of stairs we went, skipping a few at a time, before getting to the front entrance where our bikes where parked.

Hopping onto our motorcycles, we start the engines pull off into the road and back to the Hydra base where we will report our success.
