After church we went to the park near our house. We decided to have a picnic here with the Jauregui's. But they haven't made it yet. I'm really hungry but my aunt says everyone has to wait till our guest arrive. So Mani and I decided to just walk around. I've been thinking ever since Camila and I kiss. I want to tell her but I'm scared too. They talked in church about how it was a sin and we'd go to hell. But I trust my cousin to keep it a secret and be cool.
"Alright what's up with you? You've been all fidgety since you've came home." Mani asked me. Should I tell her? "Uh um... it's nothing." I said shaking my head. She stared at me for a moment before pulling me to a area where no one was. We sat at the bottom of the tree facing each other. "Spit it out." She demanded. I sighed and scratched the back of my neck. "Ok... but don't be mad at me." She nodded and motioned for me to continue. I opened my but closed it. Not knowing how to say it. I was scared.
"I-um..." Normani groaned and threw her hands up. "You and Camila kissed." She blurted out. My eyes widened in shock. My heart beating fast. "H-how'd you know about that?" I asked. "Lauren was about to walk in the room when she heard y'all talking. She told me at church and Camila admitted it to her that night. But don't worry about us disapproving. Lauren and I both believe you should love who you want." Normani told me.
"But didn't you hear what the pastor said?" I asked. "Fuck him Y/n. It's not like your forcing him to be gay. Besides at the end of the day your going to die happy with who you live. Not miserable pretending to be someone your not." She said. "Yeah I guess your right. But please don't tell your parents or grandma babs." I pleaded. "Hey relax boo. Your secret is safe with me. Just be careful, ok?" I nodded and hugged her. "I'll be careful. I promise."
