You Meet Again - Leo

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Growling, you waved your hand around frantically until it connected with your alarm, making the stupid thing shut up. Who's bright idea was it to set it for 6:30 on a freakin' Saturday?

Yawning, you rolled over and landed on your feet in your room. You suddenly smiled as the hazy memory of last night appeared in your head. That mutant turtle called Leo had smashed the life out of your ex... you two talked the night away are he bid you goodbye once he was sure you were safe.

Ah well, you thought, I always wake up early anyway.

You decided to switch on the TV in your room. Yes, you had a TV in your room. Only after months of saving up and pleading, that is. You didn't bother getting out of your pyjamas because it was a Saturday, nobody would see you.

You grabbed the remote from the counter and settled on the couch. Turning on the TV, you flicked through the channels until bright light caught your eye.

You gasped. Space Heroes! It was only your most favourite TV show EVER.

You flicked back to the channel and glued your eyes to the screen.

"Captain Ryan, the Zyborg 3000 has taken over the starship! WHAT ARE WE GONNA -" the TV blared, and the trusty sidekick was cut short by Ryan slapping him.

"We must... kill it."

Suddenly, there was a knock on your window. Startled, you lowered the TV's volume.

You glanced at the window and saw... Leo!

He waved at you, while sitting on your fire escape.

You opened the window and he smiled. "Hey Y/N, I just swung by to say hello."

"At six in the morning?" You laughed. "Come in."

The blue-clad turtle did so and soon he was standing in your bedroom. Thank god your parents weren't awake, otherwise they'd have a frickin' heart attack!

"So, how are y - IS THAT SPACE HEROES?!?" Leo's jaw dropped as he stared at the screen. His eyes turned into hearts.

"Haha, yeah it is. I'm kinda a fan..." you looked down. It was something you didn't often talk about, since so many people thought it was cringy (SCREW THEM).

"YOU'RE A FAN TOO?!" He yelped.

"Leo! Keep it down! My parents are still asleep!" You laughed. "Why? Do you like it?"

"CAPTAIN RYAN IS THE BEST!"

You two both laughed at his fan-boyishness and continued watching your favourite TV show together. 

All in all, you were glad Leo had come by again. You watched the show until 9 am, when your mum came into your bedroom to "wake you up". Had it not been for Leo's sweet ninja skills, you woulda been caught for sure!

But you weren't, and that's the thrill of the event, ins't it? Because Leo was your secret... and little did you know, you were his too.
