"come to hawaii with us," your boyfriend, jonah, blurted on facetime.
"what?"
"i know you were planning on just coming to california when we got back from japan, but why don't you go to hawaii with us and then you can stay in my apartment until i get back."
"i don't know if i can afford a trip to hawaii."
"babe, everything is paid for except for he flight and i can help you if you need it."
"i hate asking you for things."
"you're not asking, i am. can i pay for you to come to hawaii with me?" he asked with his cute smile. you sighed and stared thinking in your mind.
"yeah sure." you smiled.
"yes! okay, i'm gonna talk to jon and get everything worked out."
"okay cool."
a few days later you were on your flight to hawaii. jonah was already there, waiting for you at the airport. soon you landed and met jonah by the baggage claim.
"hi!" he said, welcoming you into a big hug. you wrapped your arms around his neck and he squeezed your body tight.
"how was your flight?" he asked.
"it was fine. what about yours?"
"fine." you pulled away from the hug and kissed his lips.
"here, i got your coffee," he told you handing you a starbucks cup.
"thank you." you kissed his lips again then you found your bag.
"ready to go?"
"mhm." you walked towards the moving walkways that led to the front of the airport. jonah leaned up against it and you leaned into him, hugging him.
"the house is gorgeous, you're gonna love it," jonah said with a smile.
"i can't wait to see it." you pecked his lips.
you got to the front and found a cab, going to the house you were staying in.
"everyone's outside in the pool, wanna go?" he asked once you got to your shared room.
"yeah sure." you grabbed your bikini and changed before going outside with jonah.
"y/n!" you heard gabbie call. you smiled and hurried over to her and lavender.
"how are you? how's lav?" you asked, hugging gabbie.
"we're good. she's just chilling." gabbie laughed, looking over at lav. she was laying on a towel underneath an umbrella with her eyes closed.
"she's so precious." you smiled.
"babe, come get in!" jonah called.
"well, i gotta go." you chuckled and stood up. you ran and jumped into the pool, cannon balling right next to jonah.
you came out of the water and wiped the water from your face. jonah grabbed your waist and pulled you into him.
"i'm so happy you're here." he smiled.
"me too." you put your hand on his cheek and kissed his lips.
that night everyone was hanging out either in the pool or on the lounge chairs, eating the burgers jon had grilled for everyone.
as it got later everyone retired to their rooms, you and jonah leaving too.
"i'm gonna shower," you told jonah. you grabbed your toiletries bag and headed in the bathroom. as you were closing the door, jonah stepped in.
"mind if i join you?" he asked, sending you a smirk. you chuckled and nodded.
after you showered you got out and got into bed. jonah pulled your back against his chest, rubbing your thigh then resting his hand on your stomach. you put your hand on top of his and fell asleep.
the rest of the week you joined the boys in doing all their fun tourist activities. surfing, zip lining, looking at huge dinosaur bones. you and jonah had so much fun together.
the day of the show came and you were backstage in the green room with jonah sitting on the couch.
"see, you would've missed all this if you didn't let me fly you out here," jonah said, poking your nose.
"yeah, yeah." you chuckled.
"i'm glad you came." he kissed your nose.
"i'm glad you invited me." you leaned in and kissed his lips.
there was a knock on the door and zach burst through the door.
"come on, we're in stage in two minutes!" he called. jonah stood up and you followed him to the side of the stage.
the guys and their team huddled up and prayed.
"let's have a good show everyone."
"ready? 1, 2, 3, why don't we oh! this is only the beginning!" everyone cheered and hugged and the guys did their handshakes.
"y/n," jonah got your attention in the midst of the chaos and pulled you into him.
"have fun out there," you told him.
"i will as long as you're on the side." he smiled and kissed you.
"i'll see you after." you kissed him again and pushed him away. the guys went on stage causing the crowd to uproar.
you sang along and cheered as the guys performed. christina was with you, but gabbie was staying in the green room with lavender.
after the show you guys went back to your house and all decided to go for a late night swim in the ocean.
you and jonah waded our way into the water, about chest deep.
"did you like the show?" he asked.
"yeah. you always do amazing jonah." you smiled.
"thanks." you swam closer to him and put your arms around his neck. he held your waist and spun you in circles. you leaned your head back and threw out your arms, feeling the water moving around you.
"you're so beautiful," jonah said. he stopped spinning you and just held you against his chest.
"thank you." you smiled cheerily. he chuckled and shook his head.
"i love you so much." he pecked your lips, then took you by surprise by throwing you into the water, which started a full on splash war.
you tried to jump on his back and dunk him, but he was stronger than you and just wrapped his arms around you and held you tight.
"okay i give up," you panted.
"good." jonah laughed.
"i love you," you said.
"i love you more."
