I got up from the bed and walked downstairs to grab something to eat.
"Mea." Sandra spoke to me when I walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning." I froze when I noticed a familiar face sitting at the table.
He smiled at me. "Hello, Mea. It's been a long time since you've been around here." He winked at me. I almost threw up.
"Don't be rude in my house Mea. Now my company spoke." I turned and faced William. He looked the same except for the weight loss and grey hair.
"Well excuse me for not wanting to speak to a pedophile!" I looked at her like she was crazy and headed upstairs to my room. I didn't have an appetite anymore. When I walked inside of the room my phone vibrated indicating that I had a message.

Raven arrived at the house an hour later. "Hey, best friend!" She said while closing her car door. We hugged and walked inside of the house.
"Girl it smells good in here. Let me guess your mother is in a good mood today?" She smiled.
"I guess." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Let me go tell her hey before she finds out I'm here and curses me out." She laughed.
Raven popped her head into the kitchen and greeted Sandra. She saw William, turned towards me and raised an eyebrow. I just shrugged my shoulders.
"I don't know why that pervert is still around here!" I yelled so they could hear me. We both headed upstairs towards my room.
"Are you okay with him being here?" She looked concerned.
"Hell yeah. I have no problems slicing and dicing a nigga." She laughed at me.
"Girl we got to get you out of this house. You need some fun in your life." I thought about what she said.
"No partying Raven." I rubbed my stomach.
"Duhhh we don't have to go partying. There are other ways we can have fun like bowling, skating, and restaurants. You know stuff like that." She rolled her eyes and sat up to sit against the headboard.
"Well okay. Where are we going?" I really needed to get out of the house because all I do is think about Dominique and cry.
I fucking hate going through breakups.
She looked at the ground deep in thought. "Let's go to the movies."
"Okay." I got up from my bed and went into the closet to get dressed.
It took us forty minutes to arrive at the movies because Raven needed to stop at the store. We grabbed our tickets and headed to our seats.
"I'll be back. I'm going to grab me something to eat and drink. You need anything?" I asked.
"Girl you are a fool to be paying for that expensive food." She opened her purse, took out her jacket, pulled out two cookies and cream Hershey candy bars, two bags of Doritos and two half subs from the deli.
"We're eating good MeMe." She did a little dance while holding up the food.
Somehow the guy taking our tickets didn't search properly. Maybe because he was trying to flirt with us instead of doing his job. I'm not complaining because he just saved me some money.
"I should have known that's why you're carrying around that big ass bag." I laughed. "But Rae where is the drinks I can't eat all of that without something to wash it down." She placed the food back in the purse and laughed.
"Oh yeah. I knew I forgot something." She shook her head laughing at herself.
"I got you, sis." I left out to use the restroom and grab us some drinks.
"Your total is $10.45" I shook my head and gave the money to the cashier. This is why people sneak items into the movies. I just wanted two drinks and it cost that much.
"Can I have a large popcorn, skittles and a large drink." I looked over to my left.
Damn, he's cute.
He turned, looked over at me and smiled. I returned the smile, grabbed my drinks and headed towards the theater.
"Excuse me" I turned around and there he was.
"Yes," I responded.
"Do I know you from somewhere?" I looked him up and down.
He wasn't cute this man was fine as hell. The outfit he was wearing was simple but looked good on him and did I mention he was smelling so good!

"No, I don't think so," I replied.
"Well, I apologize for any confusion." He smiled. "So, what is your name then?" He opened the pack of skittles and started eating them.
I cocked my head to the left "Mea."
"Mea huh? Well, my name is Jarod and you enjoy the movie." He winked and headed inside the same theater as me. I walked behind him and returned to my seat.
"Girl what took you so long. I almost finished the snacks without you." Raven said once I sat down.
The movie was beginning and the lights were getting low. I made it back just in time.
Before it was completely dark I looked around and on the same row was Jarod. He smiled at me.
"Who is that?" Raven nosey self-asked.
"Just some guy." I turned my head and focused on the screen.
