"Babygirl, it's okay. Breathe in, breathe out. Don't be so nervous, they won't eat you," his long fingers were calmingly running up and down my spine. I loved when he was doing it, but that time, it was something different. I wanted to throw up, nervousness had me in its claws and even though I tried, I couldn't get rid of it.

"Dad, I think she's about to faint," Jake was concerned.

"No! No, I'm ... well, not good, but I can do it," my voice was shaking, but when Skeet intertwined his fingers with mine, I knew nothing bad could happen to me.

Skeet threw me a huge birthday party that Friday. All my friends were there, even my home ones, we had an amazing time. He was holding me in his arms all night, kissing my scratches lightly, whispering in my ear how much he loves me. I was never happier or more thankful. What made me even more excited was fact, that my home friends accepted him immediately and they loved him, which made me tear up a little bit, from happiness of course. And then, when everyone left, he said he wanted to take me to meet his parents. He finished filming Riverdale in advance and had two weeks off before starting his new project. So I took a holiday and we went to L.A. We agreed on one week in there, one week in my hometown. My parents were eager to meet him as well.

So there I was, standing in front of house that belonged to Skeet's parent.

"I love you," he smiled and leaned down to kiss my lips.

"I love you."

We opened the door and I immediately felt some good smell, someone was baking something. Nai and Jake rushed somewhere and there she was coming, Skeet's mom with a smile on her face. I could tell he had her smile and her eyes. She was as tall as me.

"Mom," he said with tenderness in his voice and hugged her.

"My baby, you're home, finally," she said lovingly and I smiled, she was hugging him so tightly.

"Mom, I'd like to introduce you to my girlfriend, Vicki," he took a step back and I smiled.

"My pleasure to meet you, madam, I'm Victoria Wilson," we shook hands.

"Nice to meet you, Victoria," she smiled. But I couldn't tell if it was honest smile.

"Come inside, please," she let us in and I felt my hands sweating. I didn't know if I was approved or not.

"Skeeter," tall man appeared in the hallway and they hugged.

"Dad! So good to see you," he murmured into his shoulder.

"And who's this beautiful young lady?" Skeet's dad looked at me with broad smile.

"I'm Victoria, pleasure to meet you, sir," I felt that he liked me.

"The pleasure is all mine. Come, we're about to eat," we went to dining room.

Food was delicious although I was still nervous and couldn't eat normally. I felt Skeet's mom gaze, on the other hand, Skeet's dad was all smiles, asking me questions about my hometown, schools I went to, sports I like. He was very funny, talkative and nice, just like his son.

"Victoria, could you help me with the plates, please?" Skeet's mom asked. Skeet stood up to help her instead of me, but I tapped his shoulder, that it's okay. I knew that she wanted to talk, I expected it.

"You can leave them there," she pointed at kitchen counter.

I turned around, facing her. She looked very serious.

"How old are you?"

"I'm twenty-five, madam," my voice was shaking.

"You're twenty five years younger than my son."
