Vancouver welcomed me with dark sky and massive storm. I was completely wet when I got to Skeet's apartment. I unpacked quickly and ran to shower as I was soaking wet. There was nothing in fridge, so I ordered myself a pizza and chinese and sat on the sofa, dialling Skeet. He ordered me to call him immediately when I get home. He was even more overprotective after what has happened and he was unhappy he couldn't come with me.
And, I still hadn't told him about the interview.
"My love! Hi! Are you okay? I was thinking about you," he shouted from the other side of phone and I smiled at him.
"Hi sunshine. It's heavily raining in here, but now I'm here, safe and sound, I showered and ordered myself tons of food and I miss you so much."
"Thank God. Rest, my love. Oh, don't even get me started, I would do anything do be with you right now. I miss you, Vicki."
"And how are you? What are you doing, are you filming right now? Did you eat enough?" I was checking up on him, cause he lost some weight and I didn't like that.
"You're so cute. Yes, I did and no, I just finished filming, we're starting in five hours again," he smiled.
"Then go to sleep, please, you need to rest."
"I want to be with you, I miss you so bad," he said sadly.
"Skeet, I... I need to tell you something," I confessed, cause I couldn't hold it back anymore.
His facial expression immediately change.
"I mean ... Not right now, it would be better in person and it can wait these two weeks and ..."
"Babygirl ... Are we having a baby?" he asked quietly with a hope (?) in his eyes.
"No, no ... I'm not pregnant. It's something different."
"I don't know if I can stay patient, my love, you scared me a little now, to be honest. What is it?"
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ... It's nothing serious, um ... well, it is serious, but not like that ... it's about work. But I really need to talk to you about that in person. And now, even though I want to talk to you, I want you to go to sleep and relax, we can talk tomorrow, okay?" I said calmly.
"Babygirl, I'm so stressed right now," he confessed.
"You don't have to be! Oh, I shouldn't have said that probably. It's not about pregnancy or us, we're good, right? It's just work ... Don't worry, honey bunny," I used the nickname I gave him after watching PulpFiction, "I love you."

"Vics, I don't even know what to say," KJ sighed and looked at me with puppy eyes, "my condolences," he put the mug down and hugged me.
"Thank you," I wiped away tears. It was still so fresh.
"What can I do for you?"
"You already are. You're here with me, that's all I need. My bestie and good green tea," I caressed his face which caused him to smile.
"I missed you," he said quietly.
"I missed you too, KJ. So much ... How are you and Lauren doing?" I got curious.
"We're okay," he shrugged his shoulders and looked down.
"Okay? What is going on?" I was immediately concerned.
