Graduation

Today was the day Peter would graduate high school. The miserable days of his life would be over. Peter decided he wouldn't go to college, because he already has a job at Stark Industries, not to mention working with Tony Stark himself! Peter saw Tony as his father figure.

While getting ready for the graduation, right before he was about to leave, he saw a yellow sticky note stuck on to the refrigerator.
I'm so sorry Petey, But I have work to be done at the office! I'm so sorry I had to miss your graduation! But it's super important and I hope you understand.

Peter was distraught when he read the note. How could his only living relative not come to his high school graduation!? He had no one.

While the principal was presenting his speech, two people just arrived and were taking their seats. Some people were whispering and the others were talking to the person next to them. Peter didn't pay attention. "Now, I must hand out the certificates to our graduates!" The principal announced. "Eugene 'Flash' Thompson" Flash's parents shot up from their seats clapping for their son. Flash was always such an asshole to Peter. "Michelle Jones" the principal called, and so on until Peter's name was called. "Peter Benjamin Parker" everyone clapped as Peter walked on stage. He took the certificate and smiled for the camera. "That's my boy!" He heard from the audience. Peter remembered May couldn't be here. Plus she would never say that. He looked at the audience and instantly saw Tony Stark and Pepper Potts sitting in the front row. "Great job kid!" Pepper yelled as she continued to clap. Everyone in the audience, every single one of Peter's classmates and even the principal was shocked. Ned was even surprised they even showed up.

Everyone's name has been called and now it was time for the free food outside. All the parents were waiting for their children at the canteen. When Peter's classmates arrived at the canteen, all the parents were trying to find their kid and congratulating all of the other children. All Peter cared about was finding Mr.Stark and Ms.Potts. "Pete! Over here!" He heard. Peter went that direction and saw Tony and Pepper standing in front of him. He said nothing and went straight for a hug. They both hugged back. "Why are you guys here! This is amazing!" Peter released from the hug and so did Pepper and Tony. "May told us she couldn't make it and we decided we would come to my favorite spider's graduation!" Tony exclaimed. "Thank you guys so much." Peter started to tear up as Pepper pulled him into another hug. Tony joined in too. The photographer took a photo of them hugging and Tony made him send the picture to him.

A few days past, and Peter was invited to sleepover at Stark Tower for the week. He couldn't refuse. Once he entered the penthouse he saw Tony waiting on the couch. "Hey, kid! I got something to show you!" Tony showed Peter a picture in a white frame. It was Tony, Pepper, and Peter all cuddled together from graduation. On the frame, there was black writing on the frame, and it said:
'happy family photo.'

Peter looked up at him and smiled the biggest smile he has ever smiled. "Look, I got one for you too." Stark pulled out another of the family photo from the drawer in his desk. Every day, whenever Tony and Pepper would wake up every morning, the picture of him, his wife and Peter would be sitting there on his nightstand. Every day whenever Peter wakes up, he would also see the picture and be reminded, Tony and Pepper.
