Jin turned to Jungkook. "Ready to go in?"
The two stood at the door to the cottage. The sign was still pinned to the front.
Jungkook nodded. "Yes. Thank you for cooking me dinner, Jin. It's embarrassing that I was upset over something so stupid... but thanks for talking it out with me."
Jin smiled as the boy bounced up the steps to the house and knocked. Soon, a young man with striking pastel purple hair opened the door. Jungkook looked delighted and immediately hugged the man.
"Namjoon! I'm home. Sorry for running away. I should have considered your feelings as well."
The man look surprised at first, then smiled and pat his head. "It's okay, Bunny, I forgive you."
"My name is not —"
"And you did this?" The man looked over to Jin, who was still sheepishly standing behind Jungkook. "Thank you for finding the boy. He's so small, you know..."
"I'm not that small..."
"So thank you for returning him. He looks like he got fed a little too, hmm? It seems you took good care of Bunny." His inquisitive brown eyes locked onto Jin's own. "You look strong and skilled as well. My name is Namjoon. Do you want to join our party?"
Jin stared, taken aback. "Umm, uhh, I'm Jin. What party?"
"You know, a party. Like a band of adventurers on quests to fight monsters and get loot, that kind of thing!"
That caught Jin's attention. "Wow, that sounds cool! What kind of quest are you talking about?"
Namjoon smiled wide, two little dimples forming on his cheeks. "Through fire and water."
