Jungkook sagged in front of the punching bag, sobbing, tears streaming down his face. He had avoided Jimin all day, too ashamed to show his face. He couldn't eat. He knew Taehyung or Namjoon or someone would tell Jimin what had happened, and Jimin would hate him forever, just like the rest of them.

He had to get out. He had to get away.

But if he left, where could he go? He'd gotten Yoongi killed. Min Yoongi. One of the best rappers in the whole rebellion. He gave the bag another angry punch, then stepped back, ripping the gloves off and shoving them in his bag. Heart heavy, he left the gym, running a hand through his sweaty hair.

"Jungkook?"

He ignored Jimin, picking up his pace as he headed toward the stairs. When he heard the footsteps following him, he just ducked his head, keeping his eyes on his feet and holding onto the railing.

"Jungkook, hey--"

Jungkook turned around, glaring at him, and mouthed 'go away', before turning and continuing up the stairs.

"I want to talk to you!" Jimin protested. "Could you look me in the eyes?!"

Jungkook shook his head, pushing the door to his room open. Jimin tried to follow him, but he slammed it in his face, locking it quickly.

"Jungkook!"

Jungkook groaned, ruffling his hair, and dove into his bed, burrowing under the covers and pulling a pillow over his ears so he wouldn't have to hear Jimin. His heart hurt. He started to cry again, his stomach aching with the hunger and the pain.

Yoongi was dead. Yoongi was dead because of him.

It was all his fault.

Stolen weapon, check.

Food, check.

Change of clothes, check.

Jungkook pulled the backpack on, carefully slipping Soomin's phone into his pocket as he walked down the hall toward the exit. No one stopped him. No one even tried to question him. They were used to him leaving on missions.

Except this time, he wasn't coming back.

Jimin caught him at the gate, grabbing his arm and forcing him to face him.

"Where are you going?" he demanded.

"Mission." Jungkook looked away, entering the password and watching the gate open.

"Why?"

"There's nothing else I can do."

Jimin let his hands fall, and Jungkook strode forward, eyes on the horizon.

He would find somewhere, even if it cost him everything.

There was no way he would fight again.
