Three Nights Of Camping Part One

Akko    

I finally made it, I'm so excited my friends are also here as well from what they said, I walk in the entrance seeing my friends relaxing sitting on logs, " Akko you made it" Amanda says waving. I wave back and walk over, " I wouldn't miss it for the world," I say sitting down, Sucy grins making everyone else smile expect Amanda who's smirking," why are you doing that, what's going on," I say nervously. I shakingly turn my head seeing Diana and her snobby friends, she looks at me and I stand up, I stomp off in the woods mumbling under my breath, " I hate them so much" I say. I take off my hat and throw it on the ground, I groan and sit on a stump taking off my bookbag putting it to the side, " no wonder they told me to come here, they planned this, ever since they knew she would come here" I mutter. I shouldn't have played that game last week, they would have never known about my silly little crush, I facepalm and I feel something drop on my face. 

It does it again and I look up seeing gray clouds, it starts pouring on me in an instant, I grab my bag and sit under the bridge soaking wet, I pull my knees to my chest for comfort, I shiver when I hear a twig crack along with leaves. Somone walks on the bridge and I close my eyes, " Akko where are you" somone yells, I open my eyes and grab my bag peeking up seeing Diana, I sit back down. Nope, I rather freeze to death than be embarrassed, I sneeze and she shifts under me, stupid allergies you're gonna get me caught, " Akko where are you" she says walking around. I sneeze again and she jumps off the bridge onto the ground, I see her and she turns around looking at me, I grab my bag and make a run for it back to camp hearing her on my trail, I'm so dead. I trip over a log and hit the ground, " ugh my knee," I say, I sigh and sit up she stops and walks over to me, I scoot back hitting a tree, she crouches and examines my knee with a slight concern.

I wince when she touches it, " hey don't touch me, I'm fine," I say trying to get up, I push myself up only to yelp, " you don't seem like it, just let me help before you do something else stupid," she says. I sigh and she puts my hand over her shoulder, " work with me here, I'm trying to help" she says, I grasp her shirt and grab my bag with my other hand, we start walking back to camp not speaking at all. She walks to her tent and I look at the chart hanging on it seeing my name along with her's alone, I mentally groan and she sets me on the floor, grabbing a medkit from her bag. She gets on her knees and grabs my injured leg, I look away not wanting to talk or make any eye contact, " is it that bad if I'm here" she says, I bite my lip feeling guilty, " no it's just, something is bothering me" I say back. I look at her and she looks at me, " I told my friends something and there using it against me, I'm embarrassed they might tell everyone just for me to do something about it" I say. 

She narrows her eyes, " that's stupid and highly annoying," she says looking down, I smile slightly and nod, " I know they care for me, I mean it's a big deal for me though, I don't think telling her would be a good choice" I say. She looks at me confused, " nothing, it's not important besides I'm pretty sure you would be disgusted by it" I say, I try getting up only to fall back down, I sigh. Stupid leg, " Akko don't push me away, I promise I will try to understand," she says getting closer, I scoot back, " I'll tell you just please stop coming closer," I say nervously, she sits down and nods. I exhale and look at her, " I spilled who I liked last week playing truth or dare when they found out, I've been cautious ever since when I found why they invited me, I got angry and wanted to be alone" I say. Her eyes widen, " you like a girl" she says, I sink and nod feeling like running, " Akko that doesn't bother me, I'm just sorta surprised that's all, I never thought you swing that way" she says.

  I laugh nervously, " sorry it just sorta happened, um if you don't mind I'm kinda hungry," I say, she gets up and helps me up as well, we walk to the kitchen hall, my friends look at me smiling, I glare at them. She helps me get my food along with walking me to my friends, " um Akko when you get done tell me and I'll help you get back," she says looking at the table, I nod and she walks off to her friends. Amanda nudges me smirking, " so you two dating or what," she says, I roll my eyes and grab my sandwich biting it, " so is that a yes or n- I throw my sandwich at her and grab another one. They laugh at Amanda and I gaze at Diana while eating, watching her laugh with her friends along with almost smiling.

I open my eyes hearing crying, " mom please don't leave me, please you're all I have left, I don't want to be alone" Diana says moving around in her bag, I sit up and crawl over to her, I take her out of her bag. I check her temperature and sigh in relief, " please don't leave me" she says, I lay beside her and she hugs me, I hug her back and close my eyes.

I open my eyes seeing her staring back at me, I back away wincing, " sorry you were um crying in your sleep and I wanted you to have some comfort," I say, she nods, " sorry for waking you up with my nonsense" she says. I grab her arm and smile, " it's fine, it didn't bother me at all, just know, I'm always here" I say, she smiles lightly and nods, I pull my hand back and yawn. She gets up grabbing some clothes from her, my eyes widen and I look down, " Diana, I'm gonna need to change as well but I'm gonna need help" I say.
