Day two
Akko pov
My mind spins in a dizzy trance as she helps me get ready again, I could feel my face burning along with my pride, she moves back still looking at the ground, " T-hanks, um we should head to breakfast" I say. She nods and crouches down over to me, I put my arm around her neck, she pulls me up and we walk to the dining hall cabin, " Diana, are you ...okay, did I do something wrong" I say. She stops and looks at me, " No, you didn't do anything, it's just, I'm not good at being social as well as physical," she says, I nod smiling, " well, I'm here, if you need a favor, just know that" I say. Her face flushes a with a pink tint as she nods, " now, let's go get some breakfast, I'm hungry" I say, she laughs a bit and we walk up the steps, I look over at her table, seems she only drinks tea and eats small sandwichs. Somone nudges me, I look over at Amanda who is snickering, " you sure, you two aren't dating" she says, my' friends look at me, " no, we're not, I- we-re just friends" I say. Amanda shrugs and goes back to eating, I chug down my juice and sigh, " Hey Akko," someone says, I look to my right seeing Diana, " I was wondering if you wanted to walk in the woods" she asks.
I nod feeling my heart race, she helps up and we walk out of the dining hall, walking through the woods silent as ever, " Diana, can I ask you a question" I say, she nods still walking, " um, why are you being nice to me, I'm just a screw up" I say. She grips my hand and stops, " Akko, don't degrade yourself like that, I just want to make it up to you, you are just perfect, you make others happy by just being yourself, I'm always making you question yourself" she says. I grip her hand nodding no, " Diana, I'm not perfect, all you did was make me try harder, to me you were my arch enemy, maybe even a best friend, I know you have walls, you put them up to protect yourself, I know you were trying at times" I say back. She steps back looking down, " Diana, you don't have to put up walls for everyone, certainly not me," I say reaching out for her hand, she trembles and hits a tree. I limp over to her smiling, she freezes standing there looking at me, I grab her hand, " You can't get rid of me, after all, I'm the perfect Akko kagari," I say still smiling, she embraces me. I grab a tree branch for support as she cries in my shoulder, I play with her hair as she tightens her grip around me, " Please don't leave me, I hate being in the dark" she whispers in my ear.

Amanda runs over to us grinning, " Akko, I was wondering if you and Diana wanted to play a game of truth and dare" she says, I glare at her nodding no, " I wouldn't mind, Akko are you in" Diana asks. Amanda's eyes flash with trouble, " as long as you're fine with it, I guess" I say still glaring at Amanda, we follow her the fire pit, I sit beside Diana making sure Amanda kept her distance. Amanda went off easy, I bite my lip knowing it's part of her plan, " Akko truth or dare" she asks with a smirk, I sigh, " Truth" I say bitterly, she nods and relaxes on the log, " is the person you like right here, right now" she says. I clench my teeth, " Amanda you know the answer, why are you asking me" I say back, she looks at me confused, " Just answer the question" she says back. I scowl at her, " yes, they are," I say, she acts surprised and crosses her arms, " See, wasn't that hard, now," she says, I huff and look at the fire, " Diana, truth or dare, " Sucy asks. I look back up and give Sucy a slight glare, " why not a dare" Diana says, Sucy glancing at me with a slight smirk on her face, " I dare you to kiss Akko, on the mouth, shouldn't be that hard, I gave you directions as well," Sucy says.
My heart drops and I look over at Diana, " You don't have to, I kno- my eyes widen as she grabs both sides of my face closing the distance between us, I freeze counting the seconds that go by, five seconds later, she pulls away. She looks over at them smirking, " I don't lose a challenge, next time don't doubt me" she says, Amanda looks bewildered as everyone just sits there speechless. We leave the fire pit and head back to the tent, still processing everything that just happened, " Akko, I'm so sorry, I should have asked for your permission," she says panicking, I pat her shoulder, " It's fine Diana, I forgive you," I say. She sighs in relief and helps me down, I watch as she gets ready for bed, " Diana, do you have special someone, that makes you feel like continuing on" I ask. She looks over at me and smiles, " oh yes, she really special, to me and everyone" she says, she climbs in her sleeping bag turning off the lights, " Oh" I mutter, she really must be special then.
