Roommates part two

Akko pov

I groaned trying to turn off the alarm, I sigh and get out of bed, my eyes widen seeing I'm not in my room, I sigh sadly, guess it wasn't a nightmare, " Akko, get dressed, you have to study" Diana says peaking from behind her bookshelf. I mentally sigh again, I grab my uniform heading to the bathroom, I walk out walking back to the bed, I grab my brush as well as my hair tie after I finish I turn around. She signals me to come over, I huff walking over to her area, a scent surrounds me, I take a sniff tracking where it's going, I stop looking up, " Akko what are you doing" she says, how could such a wonderful scent come from her. Must be magic, dark magic, but it does smell nice, no it's probably a mind-control spell or a forge- " Akko, hello, are you even paying attention" she says. I blink slowly nodding, she sighs handing me a book, " since it's the weekend your gonna have plenty of time to study, now, I'm gonna help you along the w- I groan aloud. She sighs again, " look if you don't get any good grades soon, you will be expelled from SuperNova, I didn't want to tell you this because you would probably stress out but it seems you need to know, so be serious," she says. 

My heart drops as well as my eyes widening, I'm ...going to get expelled, no, I just got friends along with slowly learning magic, I'll have to go back to law school... " Akko, calm down, I'll help you, exhale, you got to work with me," she says worriedly. Work on piles of work being stacked on my desk as I try to finish the first page, disgusting food along with rulers, not the rulers, I flinch feeling something grasp my hand. I look at Diana seeing her grabbing my hand giving me a concerned look, " Akko, calm down, I won't let it happen, I'll be here every step of the way, I promise," she says, softly rubbing my hand. I exhale gripping her hand, something doesn't feel right, my brain clicks a minute later, I look at my hand and back at her, she pulls her hand back and coughs, " sorry, now time for studying" she says. I nod following her over to her table with books surrounding it, I sit down as she sits beside me, " now, were going to go over the basic magic history, answer this test so I know what you, know" she says. I grab a quilt looking over the fifteen questions after I finish answering them, I slide it over to Diana, she looks up from her book closing it. 

I watch her scan over my answers in just five seconds, she puts it down not even looking at me, " is something wrong, did I fail the whole thing or-, she nods no and gets up looking through the piles of books. Grabbing two and sitting back down, " were going to go over four sections on Magic history as well for star anatomy," she says, I wonder what my grade was, I look at the clock. Oh, this weekend is gonna be a bore but at least Diana is showing some empathy which in my result is kinda weird, I wonder if she's sick or she's warming up to me, now one can resit my kindness. Maybe I should test it out, she wouldn't mind, Diana would be fine with me doing that, after all, I just wanna check her health.

My stomach growls as I finish the third section, I look over at Diana seeing her still reading, " Dianaaaa, I'm hungry" I say, she looks at me, I pout laying on the table, " fine, I may be hungry as well" she says. I grin getting up running to the door, she walks over to me opening the door, she shuts it and we make our way to the Cafeteria, none of Diana's friends are here, just mine, hmm, I mean she is helping me. I follow her getting me a sandwich as I passed by the food, we walk back to her table, she looks at me confused, " Akko, what are you doing, go talk to your friends" she says pouring tea in her cup. I smile sitting down in front of her, " it's fine, my friends can deal with not being with me for a day, besides you all alone, I'm showing gratitude," I say grabbing my sandwich. She sighs looking at the window, seems question one is complete, I wonder if I can get her to smile, that would probably take some time, though my determination will get me there. 

I'm going slow because this is actually a good plot to me, probably two more chapters or three. See ya.
