Kokichi blinked questioning the feeling of jealousy nipping at him.  his pale hands held up his knees as she shook silently in the cold lifeless library. He could see the dull colors and dusty shelves hanging against the walls, looming horribly. The whole place looked practically trashed to bits, ironically seemed like it would for a time like this.

"Kaito and I will head out to kill off the zombies outside, everyone please stay in here and keeps quiet," Shuichi spoke as he and Kaito silently walked towards the door. The creepy feeling of the area sent shivers down the pale boy's spine as the giant door shut closed, swallowing the two out of safety. Kokichi got up meekly as he shuffled to the other side of the library.

Strangely, Kokichi was intrigued by the library. Though it seemed out of a horror movie, he liked his fair share of exploration. Kokichi's fingers drifted across the books, wiping the dust off the spines, making it made him sneeze a bit. He rubbed his eyes with his sleeve to clean off any dust floating around. Kokichi blinked looking around the dirty and grungy library, he never noticed the number of books laying around the place. The purplenett grasped the books that were thrown onto the ground, placing them onto the shelves.  It seemed like it would take a while before the two would come back, so might as well take this time to be useful.

The short boy looked around, trying to spot any closets or doors to assume to be a closet.  He spotted a door, thin and skinny, seemed perfect for a place for cleaning supplies.  He opened the door seeing a broom, cleaning spray, and bucket. Kokichi grasped the broom and began to choose a place to sweep. After a few seconds, he decided to separate the places into groups to evenly clean it.  He began at section one cleaning, picking up books, organizing shelves and such.  Kaede helped a few times, being stopped when Kokichi reassured it would be alright.

The small boy continued as he took 30 minutes to finish everything. As he cleaned up the last books that were previously thrown to the ground Shuichi and Kaito returned as they came back, their shirts and sweaters drained with dried blood and weapons drenched in the blood red.

"Ah! You guys are alive, I thought you two died.."  the blonde silently sighed as she smiled.  Shuichi smiled at his lover,

"Were alright don't worry about us!" Kaito replied his booming voice sending Kaede to giggle a bit.  Kokichi stood in the corner placing the cleaning supplies away as he looked back at them with a small smile.

"Kokichi, mind heading to a patrol with me and Kaito along with Koreikoyo?" The sweet blonde said with a smile.  Kokichi nodded as he set the broom down.  Kaede walked to the front of the building following Kaede close.  Kokichi spotted the long-haired male speaking to the green haired boy as they both wore bright smiles.  Kokichi could recognize the two getting along well since day one.  Kokichi looked seeing the broad shoulder Male seemingly speaking to Shuichi.

"Alright, guys let's head out."  Kaede hummed as she kept her optimistic smile on her lips.  Shuichi seemed to be a bit worried, obviously, you would be if your lover was going outside to face danger.  Kokichi saw the two exchange hugs to another,

"Good luck Kokichi!" The short boy jumped as he looked behind him seeing Nagito beside Hajime as Hajime nudged Nagito, telling him off. Kokichi softly chuckled at the joke, the boy walking out to the door as the others waited for him.

He followed the other's, anxiety pulling him.  He began to think about stuff that helped him through his panic attacks from the past.  He silently breathed to calm himself as he stared at an object.  He became noticed by Kaito as the Male walked over to him,

"Hey Kokichi, are you alright?" His voice seemed calmed yet bold as usual,

"Ah, yep sorry I just have bad anxiety when we go outside.." He softly spoke as Kaito gave him an understanding glance,

"Oh, that makes sense, after all, you three were out there for a while, it must've been horrible.."  Kaito spoke understanding as Kokichi smiled,

"It's alright though, at least I'm safe, and I'm happy for that.."  he began to fidget with his thumb,  Kaito smiled as he nodded.  The group arrived in a new place,

"Alright guys, let's head in,"  Kaede said her tone bright and clear as she slip into the building the other's following along.  Kokichi looked around, seemed to be a run-down mall, to say the least, the purplenett looked around a bit seeing toppled clothes, lights flickering, and blood smeared everywhere.  The smell of death made him gap a bit as it scratched at the back of his throat, he keep his focus onto searching for useful things anyway.  Kokichi walked down the tiled floor, racks of clothes thrown over and clothes ripped and thrown around,  the small boy continued to walk as he looked to the aisle.

The small boy walked to the pile of clothes, picking at them finding a few clean clothes.  The boy silently hummed as he folded the clothes placing them into his backpack. A silent creek made Kokichi flinch, he assumed it to be someone from the group, but it seemed to slow to be a live human.  Shakily he got up and stepped forward,  though he doubt there'd be zombies alive here, you can never be too sure.  Carefully he began to walk forward seeing a figure bent over, sending fear a shiver of fear down his spine.  The figure sharply turned to him.

It wasn't a human.

It was a zombie.

Kokichi's heart raced as his eyes stung with tears.  It stumbled over, growls and grumbled spit from its torn lips,  Kokichi struggled getting up as soon as he land onto his feet he began to run.  He began to search for one of the group members, tears of fear collapsing as he heard the sounds of the zombie stumbling to him.  He spotted Kaito rushing over to him, clinging onto the taller male,

"Kokichi-"  He seemed to realize the danger the small boy was running from and gripped his bat, a swung sent the zombie to the ground as it growled slowly fading away.  He looked around seeing a few more figures appear from the aisle,

"Kokichi, find the other's ill try to kill these." The taller boy whispered as Kokichi shakily nodded sneaking away, his ears heard faint grunts as the swinging of the bat echoed around.  The boy ran to the other side of the first floor spotting Kaede, and Kiyo looking through a few things,

"K-Kaede! There are zombies we need to leave!" He shakily sputtered out as he gained their attention.  They quickly got up rushing to him as they began to rush to the closest exit,

"W-wait! Where's Kaito?" Kaede asked worried as she stopped quickly,

"He's fighting off the zombies, he told me to tell you two" Kaede gulped as she rushed to where the male was.  She was engulfed as Kokichi rushed over following her,

"K-Kaede!" Kiyo followed, gripping a pile and smashing a zombie's head in as he began to fight them off.  Kokichi quickly followed stabbing the monsters with the pole he found on the ground.

 "Kaede! we need to leave!" He yelled as the female grunted hitting the monsters away.  Kokichi blinked and in a second a monster leaped onto Kaede, nipping at her neck.

She let out a pained cry as she stumbled onto the ground.
