To think that I would get a request all the way out in the middle of nowhere.
I looked to my left and see the sun glistening on the ocean's surface with the vauge scent of salt in the air. I didn't stop to admire it as I had buisness to attend to. Buisness that was still a long mile away.
I turned my head back to it's original position and gazed at the long path ahead of me that was surrounded by acres of bright green, grassy hills. The grip on my suitcase tightend and my pace quickend as my legs started to get tired from all the walking that I had done. I could feel the braids in my hair starting to come loose, as it was a windy day. I could have stopped and fixed it, but I didn't even though arriving at a clients house at anything less than your best was against regulations. Something about this one request made me feel safe.
Every step I took made a light tapping sound as the heel of my boot made contact with the ground. It was like a clock, each step was a single second.
After traveling for some time I arrived at a small cottage that was surrounded by bright green grass and a view of the oceans horizon.
I stepped up onto the porch and knocked twice on the door. I put my head down and looked at my shoes which had small specks of dust on them. I placed my bag on the ground softly as to not make too much noise.
When the door opened I grabbed the sides of my skirt and began my signature greet to all of my clients.
"It is a pleasure to meet you. I will travel anywhere to meet your request. Auto memory doll..." I glanced up and got a look at the person who was standing in front of me. I recognized him. I could never forget that face. Although, I didn't think that I would see him again.
I paused and looked at him for a second in awe, then, I finished.
"... Violet Evergarden."
These chapters will be much shorter than other ones so that hopefully I'll have more motivation to write them and also I'll be able to post them faster. I'm hoping that people will like this since this type of story allows me to use more imagery. DAMN I LOVE WRITING IMAGERY.
