"You seriously used Sincerely at the end of every letter..." Leon averted his eyes from the wad of papers in his hand up to mine. He didn't look angry as I expected. His brow was furrowed and eyes squinted, but not in an angry way.

"Is that a problem... I could rewrite them if-"

"No, there's nothing wrong with it. They're fine the way they are." Leon re-read one of the letters that I had given him.

"Wait... I told you to scrap everything I had said about you, but right here it says 'I don't know how to feel about her.'"

"Well, I had already started writing it and it was true, you couldn't decide what I was like. You kept mumbling under your breath about me and never came to a conclusion. I was told to find meaning in my clients words and from yours I saw that you had no idea what you were talking about." I found myself naturally smiling and starting to giggle like a little girl.

"Are you... laughing?"

"I- um..." I cleared my throat and stood up. "My apologies" I bowed my head, then sat back down.

"Could you add something to this letter for me?" Leon held out his hand with Kile's letter in it. The slight draft in the room made the letter vibrate slowly in his hand and crumple slightly, but that seemed to just add more life to the letter.

I took it from him and placed the paper back into the type writer, placing my metal fingers on the keys in preparation to type.

"Add, 'Violet is different now. She used to be cold, stoic, emotionless; and her life depended on one man, the Major, she called him. But now, a year later, I never expected it but, I've never see a person more full of life."
