Okay! Wow so I've completely abandoned this book you guys. But good news! We're in the midst of homecoming week so I'll have a bunch to write about soon! So definitely check for that.
This update is to tell you about possibly one of the best things that's ever happened to me. I've been bugging my boyfriend Elias about asking me to the homecoming dance for an eternity now and it's been a little (playfully) irritating that he's waited until the last minute. But today it happened. :)
He walked up to me this morning with a single red rose in his hand. I felt like I was dreaming. He walked up to me and said, "Hey cutie!" I took the rose and gave him a hug.
He told me he was sorry for what happened yesterday. We kind of had a little argument, which even though it was small it was a huge deal to Elias and I because we never fight. So he said he was sorry and I forgave him. It really wasn't a big deal yesterday anyways, compared to other couples.
Anyway, so then he said he had something else for me. He reached into his backpack, struggling a bit because he's Elias and he sometimes does cute things like mess up. So then he pulled out a box of chocolates.
As a side note, what store randomly has chocolate like that at this time of year?! I have no clue where it came from.
So at this point I still didn't know what was happening because I'm a little ditzy. So he said, "And one more thing, I was wanting to know if you wanted to go to homecoming with me?"
And so I said "Aww!" And hugged him, and then said yes. :)
It was simple and sweet. Exactly what I wanted. I didn't expect a sky writer or fireworks and this was exactly what I hoped he would do. The thought was adorable. :)
So yeah! That happened. It was amazing. :)
If you're going to homecoming, YOU GO GLEN COCO! :D
-Danielle :)
And PS. I will update soon about this week like I said! Stay tuned :D
