Zart, "Nothing at all"

You were working in the kitchens with Frypan. It had been a long, hot day in the glade. First of all Alby had gotten mad at you for talking an extra minute in bed this morning. Then Zart one of the guys you had a big crush on, hadn't said anything to you all day. On top of that Gally had come in complaining. He seemed to not be pleased with anything anyone did these days. All of which had resulted in you being grumpy. You had no idea what was going on between you and Zart. Some days you guys were almost a couple. Others you never talked. A couple of the gladers had mentioned how cute you two were, Zart never said much on it though. You had just finished up with Frypan for the moment so you were sitting under your favourite tree. You heard a cough and turned around. Zart stood there with a goofy grin on his face. "Hello y/n". You smiled and stood up "hey Zart" you said. "Hi" he said again his hands behind him. You gave him a look "what's up?" You asked him. He laughed gently

"N-nothing, nothing at all." He said the smile on his face getting bigger. "What's behind your back?" You questioned. Zart never stuttered unless he was really nervous. "These are for you." He said bringing flowers out from behind his back. You took the flowers smiling "Zart, they are beautiful." He chuckled "Just like you" he said kissing you cheek, you suddenly couldn't remember what had made you grumpy in the first place.
