Au Gally, "Senior year" Part 2

You and Newt both looked at each other and took off following Minho. He led you through the halls, he was running of course. Minho always ran, always. Newt had to stop after a couple minutes, you called out to Minho and he came back. "His limp." You said out of breath. Newt winced slightly. He had gotten into an accident a few years back, you guys didn't really talk about it though. One you had all recovered, Minho took off again.

You ended up in the gym in time for an assembly. You gave Minho a look, you had all agreed to never come to one your senior year. "Look at him." Minho said holding his stomach because he was laughing so hard. You kicked him slighty and moved so the three of you could find seats. Gally was up front on a chair with a few other guys and girls from your year. Teresa was up there, she was a genius and had already got accepted into law at Harvard. Clint was also up there, he was going to school to become a doctor. "This is the valedictorian picking." Newt said softly. You looked at Gally, no wonder he was all dressed up. You hadn't even considered the possibilty of any of you or your friends getting picked. Let's just say you all didn't have the best record.

"Time to read the votes!" Mrs.Paige your principle said in a sing song voice. Minho grunted next to you and you glared at him. Minho was not very fond of Mrs.Paige. He had ended up in her office more then once for running through the halls, and flirting. On stage Gally straightned his tie nervously. He was looking around and spotted, a massive grin filled his face. "In third place Teresa!" Mrs. Paige called out. Teresa went up and accepted the third place prize. That wasn't much of a surprise out of the 10 people up there Teresa was pretty liked, mostly because she helped everyone with homework. "Second place is Clint." You all cheered for Clint, he hung out with you guys every once and a while. You sighed, to bad Gally dosen't get anything, you thought. No way he would get first, right?

"(Y/N) LOOK, HE WON, THAT BIG NERD!" Minho yelled pulling you out of your trance. You looked up and saw Gally standing shaking Mrs.Paige's hand and getting his picture taken. You Newt and Minho all stood and cheered like crazy. He had won! That explained so much, why he had been so busy lately, had been staying at school forver, all those secret meetings, you were so proud. "Would you like to give a speech?" Mrs. paige asked into the mic. This time everyone cheered. He nodded and stepped up to the mic. It got so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

"Uh, well first, I would like to thank my friends for trusting me when i left for a while to do this. Also for believing in me, when you told me I would never win." He said quoting Minho. Everyone laughed " I would also like to thank my teachers, for actually thinking I could do this and helping me get there, Mr.Alby, this is for you." You laughed. What the heck, Mr.Alby wasn't the friendlest teacher, it must have been a joke. Judging by Mr.Alby's face, it was, he was not very impressed. You showed Newt and he giggled. "Finally, I would like to thank my girlfriend (y/n)." Gally said. "She never lost hope and was completely undertsanding, even though she had no idea what I was doing." He said, looking straight at you. "She never once questioned what I was doing or why I was spending so much time at school." He said "And for that (y/n) I love you." He said as the entire room said "AAWWWW" at the same time. Newt and Minho both gave you a big hug and you wiped your eyes, he was the sweetest guy ever, no question.

After the assembly Gally had to get a quick interview and talk to Mrs.Paige about what was coming next. It seemed like everyone was patting you on the back or congradualating you, even people you didn't know. Newt had texted everyone and they all showed up. Thomas pulled you into a huge hug, "He deserves it" He whispered into your ear. You nodded. Brenda also gave you a hug joking about how she had seen it coming all along. Chuck Clint even came and gave you a hug "I don't even mind losing to Gally" he said smiling. One of the people from the paper walked past "He's all done." He said winking at you.

You ran up to Gally and gave him possibly the biggest hug you had ever given. "I love you." You whispered as he held you. "I know, I love you too." he said kissing the top of your head. Minho attacked him next. "YOUR THE COOLEST NERD I KNOW." He shouted you shook your head and laughed as Newt slapped him "Calm down." He said giving Gally the next hug. The bell rang, thankfully you and Gally had law next. He grabbed your head and eventually broke away from everyone. "Pretty good day huh?" He asked as you laughed you leaned up to kiss him again.

" YOU GO TO LAW YOU BIG AWESOME NERDS!!!" you heard Minho yell. You both shook your heads and walked into class.
