You had come up in the box last week. You liked the glade and all the boys in it, except one. You and Gally hadn't hit it off great. You had tripped and fell on him by mistake and had really screwed up while trying to be a builder. Gally had made you a slicer knowing that was the position you wanted least. You had tried to talk to Alby about it but until you had proved yourself he wouldn't hear it. You walked in and nodded at Winston who was the keeper of the slicers. He didn't like you to much, you weren't the quickest learner. "How's it going greenie?" Gally said striding in. You sighed "What do you want?" You asked. Gally had been getting pay back by endless teasing. "Oh nothing, just wanted to make sure you weren't getting special treatment." He said looking at Winston. He shook his head "Gally, I don't want her here." He said, you felt a little hurt. "She's going to get hurt, put her in the fields or something." He said picking up the knife. That was true you had already cut yourself twice in the span of three days. Gally considered it, "Lets go talk to Newt." He stated signaling for you to follow him. You did, quietly fuming you didn't want to work in the fields you wanted to be a med jack. "Gally I-" You were cut off by his finger against your mouth. "I'm sorry, I never mean't for you to get hurt." He said taking you by surprise. "Oh" you mumbled, while things between you and Gally had never been easy, you had somehow managed to develop a small crush on him.
