Ammonia will destroy all viable DNA evidence, from blood to skin cells.
Just make sure not to mix it with any other chemical. Doing so can lead to dangerous chemical reactions that lead to the creation of things such as mustard gas*.
But while ammonia may be the classic route for destroying DNA, a new study shows that the way to completely get rid of DNA is with an oxygen producing detergent. Something like OxiClean. This will even make it so blood can't be detected with things like luminal, a chemical substance forensic scientists use to detect trace amounts of blood.
