Ok, in this chapter I will explain how to cover up T.O.D (Time Of Death), making it seem as though a person died later than they really did without leaving behind any trace.
All you'll need is dry ice.
You'll need 25 lbs of dry ice, cut into 1lbs chunks, to be specific. That amount of dry ice can lower a body's temperature by approximately 10-15 degrees in about three hours, meaning that a person with an average 98°F body temp at T.O.D will have an approximate 88°- 83° body temp.
To clear things up, on average, a human body will cool by 1.5°F, so a person with a normal 98°F body temp at time of death, will have cooled to about 93°- 94° in three hours. So using dry ice you can add an extra 3 to 7 hours onto time of death.
Ok, now I will explain how to properly execute this procedure. First, you'll want to make sure that the person is fully clothed. The reason for this is because you will be placing the pieces of dry ice directly on the persons clothes, focusing on the abdominal area where most the body's heat is stored. Dry ice, when it comes in direct contact with skin, will leave behind chemical burns. This means that you'll be wanting to wear something to protect your hands as well.
After the dry ice is placed, you will want to make sure that no-one will find the body for at least three hours. Three hours is the minimum time it takes for that amount of dry ice to evaporate in to CO2 gas, leaving behind no trace of the ice.
Now, I don't normally post links in my chapters but this site explains perfectly where to buy and how to store dry ice
