“So when we arrive, you will be taken to where you’ll be getting ready for the reunion,” Tatiana squawks.

“What about after the reunion?” I ask,

“We assumed you would want to stay with Cato? Anyway, that is where you will be staying,” She exclaims, waddling over to the table

“That’s okay with me,” I say, smiling.

“Good,”

I sit down and eat quickly, excited about getting closer to the Capitol.

“We will be arriving within the hour, so get ready,”

“Sure,”

I walk over to my bag and just shove everything that is starting to fall out, back in.

“That was quick,” Tatiana exclaims noticing me walk back in.

“Not that hard,”

“Hmmm,” She says, blushing her cheeks.

I walk over to the lounge chair and flick the T.V on. Actually, it’s not a screen it’s being projected from somewhere that I can’t see. Technology.

“What are you watching?”

“Whatever will entertain me,”

“The only thing that will be on will be Hunger Games highlights,” She says

“I realized,” I say, flicking channels, but the only thing on is all about the Hunger Games, previous interviews with the Gamemakers and people of ‘importance’.

After what seems like forever, the train starts to slow and I can see the Capitol fading into view.

The crowds of people just walking along the streets are phenomenal, the colours, the make-up the skin tones, it’s all so foreign, I thought Tatiana was  just a bit over the top, but she fits in just fine.

“Woah,” I mutter under my breath.

“No-one knows that I’m Emerald,” I confirm with Tatiana,

“Not at the moment, they know you’re arriving today, well most people anyway,” She says, waddling over to the doors.

They open automatically as soon as the train comes to a stop and she waist for me just outside the door.

“Well come on then,” She says as I stand there clutching my bag.

“Sorry,” I mumble.

“Don’t apologize, it must be a big change,” She speaks as she waddles over to a car,

“Still not there yet?”

“Just a 10 minute drive,” She says, opening a door for me.

“Thanks,”

“Yes yes, so when you get there, you will meet your stylist,”

“I get a stylist?”

“Of course, you don’t think we’d let you go on national T.V looking like you just travelled all the way from district 2,”

“But I did,”

“Do you want Cato to see you looking beautiful or like that, you’re still beautiful but you’ll look stunning when your finished,”

“Okay,”

“And you’ll get a dress to wear,”

“Okay,”

“We won’t change you that much,”

“You won’t change me at all,” I say, slightly cutting her off.
