"Well, that concludes the viewing of the games, now you've watched it back, what do you think about it?" Ceaser says as the screen flicks off.

"It wasn't enjoyable, but it didn't look too bad, I thought it was a lot worse in there," He chuckles,

"That sounds terrible," I mutter in his ear and we both chuckle.

"We've got a secret conversation going on here," He says pointing to us and pulling a face to the audience and they laugh hysterically.

"No, it's nothing," I say shaking my head and they laugh again,

We waffle on about things that no-one will remember as soon as they step foot out of the door, but entertain them for the minute.

"Well, I think we are about to run out of time," He says and the audience erupts in ohs, and aws and complaints. “Ladies and Gentlemen, this year’s Victor! CATO! And let’s not forget his lovely leading lady EMERALD!” He projects into the microphone and the audience erupts into deafening cheers.

I smile and squeeze Cato’s hand, listening to the roars of the crowd.

“Now what?” I mutter to Cato,

“We go,” He says, walking off stage, pulling my hand.

As soon as we are off stage, he pulls me into a tight hug, something I've been waiting for, for a while.

“I missed you so much,” He says and my eyes don’t even water, the tears just fall.

“I-I missed you t-too,” I sob and he laughs, "S-so much,"

“What’s the matter?” He asks, holding me at arms length,

“I’m just so happy to see you,” I say shaking my head, "Alive,"

He sighs smiling and I hug him again.

“Come on you two!” Hadriana squawks, “You can catch up back in the apartment,” She says, waddling in front of us.

“Let’s go,” He says wrapping his arm around my shoulders. I clutch onto his shirt with my fist not letting him go.

"Gladly," I mutter, "I hate being in the limelight,"

"It's not that bad,"

"Fame better not get to you," I say, slapping him on the shoulder playfully,

"If it was going to, it would of by now," He says and I nod in realization.

It's not that far to where we are staying, but I wouldn't care, as long as he was sitting right beside me the whole time.

"I have one more interview, tomorrow and then we can go back home," He says, walking through the door,

"Alright, that's okay. I'm tired," I sound like I'm complaining, but I don't think he cares,

"Well, go to bed then," He chuckles,

"Fine then I will," I say walking into the bedroom.

I lie awake, thinking about why they would let someone like me to travel between the Capitol and District 2. No-one except official people have ever been able to do that, why let a 17 year old girl?

It's for the entertainment

I'm wide awake while thinking about this, but I don't realize it's been half an hour later since I went to bed.

I hear the door creak open and flip my body over to see who it is,

"Sorry," He whispers, "I was going to come in with you, but Hadriana was talking about something and I couldn't slip out of the room without being noticed,"

"That's okay," I say rubbing my eyes,

He lifts up the covers and slides in next to me. I roll over to face him and he pulls me into his arms and the thought clicks, I don't ever have to leave him and he never has to leave me, ever again.

Nothing can tear us apart again.

The best thought I've ever had in my head, in my whole entire life.

"Goodnight," I say kissing his cheek.

"Night Em," He mumbles, "Love you,"

"I love you too,"
