Heartbreak ☆

It seems like growing up is inevitable. Time flies so fast that we didn't notice that it's time to graduate high school and start a life as a university student.

We never really thought of our future, the 4 of us would always joked that we will be idols since we're good looking but really the reality is we just didn't took it seriously.

"It is the final week for you seniors.." Mr. Park said, we were just having some break since we are going to take final exams tomorrow and the next day is we need to apply to universities.

We were all sentimental since some foreign classmates will be going back home while the others are gonna go to different universities across the country.

"So I just want to go around the class and tell me your dream profession."

My classmates went on with saying different professions like doctor, lawyer, engineers and so on.

"A teacher like you Mr. Park." Koeun was the one who said it, we saw how our teacher smiled showing his dimples.

"Why is that?"

"Because I want to educate kids to be a better person and to teach them..." she explained, "I want to be their second parent, I want to inspire them to follow their dreams and turn them into reality.. like what you did with us, Mr. Park. Without your teachings we will not be what we are today and what we will be in the future."

I think I saw Mr. Park tear up a little. The whole class agrees and cheered for Koeun. I was also inspired on what she said.

Mr. Park's smile is wide and his watery eyes are also forming into crescents. Just as he was about to talk, Lucas butted in.

"Thanks Mr. Park for inspiring me.."

"Oh, Lucas.. what is your dream?" We were expecting something from his answer because Koeun started it so beautifully, and I can also glance at Mr. Park's hopeful smile that he is wanting something meaningful.

"A racer!" He answered with a wide goof smile and I immediately facepalmed myself. He even made car noises as if he is racing which made everyone laugh including Mr. Park

"Go to the principal's office NOW." Mr. Park said and Lucas could only comply and scratch his head.

We gave Lucas pity eyes but he kind of deserved it. As we were all watching Lucas out, Koeun and I caught a glimpse of each other and smiled meaningfully.

"Alright, now that we have a glimpse of what we want after graduation, I just want to end this class with a quote I got from Bob Marley. He said 'Love the life you live. Live the life you love.' Do not keep on working because it pays bills, do what you love and do what makes you happy. Even if it is becoming a racer, if it makes you happy and love life... then go for it."

And with that, Mr. Park bowed in front of us and we all cheered while my other classmates were tearing up.

"Ah do not cry, we will still meet after exams. I would also just want to inform everyone to bring number 2 pencils and..."

He gave us reminders to bring in the final exam. He also reminded us not to be late in passing applications in Universities.

After class, we met Lucas in the hallway still with his goofy smile plastered on his face.

"What did I miss?" He asked while Yeri scolded him at the same time reminded him about the things he should bring and do.

"So.. any universities in mind?" I asked Koeun, we were walking side by side as she was reading a book.
