*Cole's POV*

I'm working in a coffee shop that I started working at about 2 weeks ago. I've pretty much fully got the hang of it now. Suddenly, the bell jingles and a blonde woman walks in and walks up to the counter.

"Hey." I say.

"Hi," She smiles. "Can I get a hot chocolate, please?" She asks.

"Of course, staying in or to go?" I ask.

"Staying in." She smiles.

"I like how you're keeping original. Most people come in here asking for extravagant drinks that take a ton of work." I chuckle a small bit and walk over somewhere else to make her hot chocolate.

She grins at me. "Yeah, I'm not a fan of those. Prefer something..." She can't seem to find the word.

"Original?" I chuckle.

She laughs a small bit. "Yeah."

I finish making her hot chocolate and take it over to the counter. She starts taking her money out but I stop her.

"Please. It's on the house. Not everyday a pretty girl like you comes in and actually talks to me." I smile.

She looks down, blushing, and smiles.

"Thank you." She says quietly then turns away and sits in a seat.

*The next day*

I'm quickly cleaning down the counter in front of me, since I just spilt someone's coffee then they just left. The bell jingles and I think it's the person whose coffee I spilt but look up to see the blonde woman again.

"What happened here?" She asks and walks over.

"I spilt someone's coffee like a dumbass." I finish wiping the counter "Lemme guess, hot chocolate?" I look at her and smile.

She smiles back. "Yes please, staying in."

"Okay." I walk over and start preparing her hot chocolate.

Once I've prepared it, I walk back over and place it down.

"On the house again." I smile.

"You can't always make them on the house, can you?" She asks.

"I can, as long as no one hears me. That's also a good perk of no CCTV." I smile at her and she smiles back.

She's about to turn away until I quickly grab her arm over the counter and he turns back.

"What's your name?" I ask her.

"Lili." She replies.

"I like that name...I'm..." I'm about to say my name but she talks before me.

"Cole." She says with a smile and I raise my eyebrow. "Believe me, the minute I saw you, I looked at your name tag."

I chuckle and give her a smile.

She smiles back then walks over to her regular table.

*The next day*

I just finished serving someone then the bell jingles and Lili walks in.

"Hello again." I say with a smile.

"Hey Cole."

"Hot chocolate?" I ask.

"No...I actually came here to ask you something." She says and give a nervous smile.

"Go ahead." I look at her.

"Do you...maybe...wanna hangout...sometime?" She asks.

I smile at her. "Are you asking me on a date, Lili?"

"Uhm...I mean...yeah..." She looks down.

"Well, I'd love to go on a date with you."

"Really?" She asks.

"Hell yeah, can I get your number though?" I ask.

"Of course."

I give her my phone and she puts her number in.

"Call you later?" I say as she gives me my phone back.

"Please do." She smiles and walks out of the coffee shop.

*Night of the date*

I dress up in a nice tux and check my tie. Lili texted me her address so I quickly rush out of the door and drive to Lili's apartment (shared with her best friends Camila).

Once I arrive, I get out of my car and walk up to her door and ring the doorbell.

"My god! Cami he's here! Get the door and tell him I'll be out in five! I haven't finished my damn makeup!" I hear from the other side of the door and I just chuckle.

The door swings open to reveal a dark brown haired woman, who I assume is Camila.

"You must be Cole." She says and I smile and nod. "Great, come on in, she's just finishing up."

I walk in and I immediately smell the smell of Lili.

"And damn? How much was that tux?" Cami asks, walking in front of me and looking me up and down.

"Uh, I'm not entirely sure." I reply.

"Hm, anyway, just know, you hurt Lili then I will come for you." She looks me dead in the eye.

"Duly noted." I chuckle a little.

Finally, Lili walks out and seems shocked that I'm here.

"Oh, hi, I thought you were waiting outside." She blushes.

"What? You wanted me to leave him out in the cold?" Cami chimes in and I chuckle.

"Well...maybe I did want that." She smiles.

I smile back. "Wow, thank you." I said obviously sarcastically.

We both look at Cami and at first she looks confused.

"Oh right." She quickly rushes off to her room.

I laugh along with Lili.

"Your best friend is a bit strange...In a good way, though." I smile and she nods also smiling.

"In the best way." She adds and I smile.

"You look outstanding, by the way." I smile at her.

"Thank you, you don't look too bad yourself, Mr.Sprouse." She walks over and straightens my bow tie.

"Well, I have us some reservations for a fancy dinner, you wanna go?" I ask.

"Obviously." She says and we both leave the apartment.

We walk up to the car and I open the passenger side door for her.

"What a gentlemen you are." She smiles and gets in.

I go to my side and start the car then drive to the restaurant.

Ik this was pretty short and not much lovey stuff happened but I just liked the idea of them meeting at a coffee shop then going out on a date then, you guys can imagine what you'd want to happen after the date. Anyway, thanks for reading <3
