Sick

*Cole's POV*

I'm laid in bed, next to Lili, as always. I'm glad I asked her to move in with me because it means that I get to be near her a lot more often.

As I laid there, thinking about how lucky I am, Lili suddenly bolted up and ran to the bathroom. I followed her there, only walking but then heard her retching up everything she had eaten the night before. I walk into the bathroom and hold her hair back and rub her back as she continues spewing her contents into the porcelain toilet.

She stopped vomiting and sat beside the toilet, a little bit of vomit on the side of her mouth. I grabbed some toilet paper and wiped her mouth then she gave me a grateful smile.

"Thanks." She says, obvious upset in her tone.

"No problem, how about I run you a bath, get you some meds and get a thermometer to check if you've got a high temperature then I'll make you some soup as you just chill in bed?" I say with a smile.

"That sounds heavenly." She replies with a slight smile.

I walk over to the bath and begin running it. When it's about halfway full, I help Lili stand up and I pull her shirt up over head and obviously having the decency to not look at her in a 'checking her out' way since she's upset.

I sit her down for a minute though and take a thermometer from the bathroom cabinet to take her temperature. I put it in her mouth and when I take it out, it reads 102.2°F

(A/N: I am from England but since Cole and Lili are from America, I'll be referring to everything in American terms but 102.2°F is about 39°C. I'll put the English terms in parentheses.

"Well, you have a high fever so I'm going to take extra care of you." I smile.

"I like the sound of that." She says, groggily.

The bath finishes filling so I turn off the faucet. (Tap)

I walk back over to Lili and help her stand up. I slide her pyjama trousers down and she steps out of them, same as her underwear. She didn't have a bra on because she's uncomfortable in them when sleeping.

I help her walk to the tub then steady her as she lifts one leg in and another then sits down.

"Thank you." She says as she relaxes.

"No problem." I smile and leave her alone for a little to go grab some medication.

I come back into our bedroom and place the meds and a glass of water on her bedside table.
I walk over to her dresser and wardrobe to pull her out some different clothes then place them on our bed.

About ten minutes later, I hear Lili shout my name so I walk in and she stretches her arms out like a little kid and I chuckle. I help her up and carefully help her out of the bath then wrap a big comfy towel around her.

I walk her out of the bathroom and sit her on a little comfy chair we have in the corner of the room.

"I'll be right back." I say and kiss her head and walk back into the bathroom to drain the water.

I walk back in and grab the medicine and glass of water then hand them to her and she takes them.

I stand her up and help her dry off then slip her legs into some underwear and some joggers and I'm about to pull a shirt over her head before she pulls away.

"No." Is all she says.

"What?" I ask in confusion.

"You can't seriously think that I wouldn't want to wear one of your shirts when I'm sick." She smirks.

I chuckle and hang her shirt back up then grab one of my own and walk back over to her.

"This one good enough?" I ask.

"No." She tugs at the one I'm wearing.

"Ah okay, you want one that smells like me." I chuckle.

I pull the shirt over my head then transfer it to Lili. I then put the shirt that I got from the wardrobe on.

"Okay, you sit down in bed and I'll go make you some soup, alright?" I say.

"God I love you." She mumbles as she sits down on the bed.

"I love you too." I smile and go into the kitchen.

Ten minutes later, I place the bowl of soup onto a serving tray along with a herbal tea to also maybe help with her fever. I bring it into the room and she smiles and me lovingly.

"Here ya go, gorgeous." I say as I place it down on her lap and kiss her forehead.

"Thank you, Cole." She smiles.

"No problem." I smile back and go around the house cleaning.

Around half an hour later, I've finished cleaning the house so I go to our bedroom to see if Lili wants anything else but I walk in to see her snuggled up and fast asleep, the tray laying on the floor.

I pick it up and take it into the kitchen and decide to clean it later but for now, I changed into some comfy joggers and no shirt to then slip in bed beside Lili.

I wrap my arms around her body and look at her face to see the colour slightly coming back to her face. I smile and kiss her head before closing my eyes.

"Thank you for taking care of me today." She suddenly says and I open my eyes slightly.

"No problem, I love you." I smile at her.

"I love you too." She says and snuggles her head into my chest.

We lay there, my arms wrapped securely around her and we both drift off into a peaceful slumber.

Damn, I kinda enjoyed writing this fluff part, I think I might write them more often, lmao. Maybe give me some suggestions? Guys. Please. Suggestions. 😂 thanks for reading, love ya'll <3
