Chapter 68

Jamal POV

She been quiet since this morning. We on our way to the doctor's office right now, and she just looking out the window. I aint finna press her about it. I got my phone and pulled up an email. I handed her my phone.

"What is this?"

"Just read it" She grabbed it and looked at the screen. She smiled, and then it faded. I already knew. 

"She will be fine A. I know she will" She smiled weakly and handed me my phone. 

"Madison you ready to see if you having a brother or sister?"

"Yes" She said. I turned up the music. Africa had her phone plugged in with the auxiliary cord. It was Kidz Bop on pandora. She started dancing in her car seat. I looked in the rear view mirror and laughed. She smiled and kept dancing. I looked over at Africa and she was still looking out the window. 

We pulled into the parking lot. 

"you wanna go sign in while I park?" 

"Yea, Maddy you coming with me?"

"Imma wait with daddy"

"kay" She got out and wobbled inside. I went to park.  I got out and helped Madison out.

"You wanna take mommy out tonight?"

"I guess so" We can go out to the movies and then we can go to eat. We went inside and Africa was on her phone. I looked over and she was reading. Typical Africa. We sat for like 10 minutes.

"Africa Nelson?" I looked at Africa, she was reading still.

"Africa Nelson?" She still aint look up. Before I could tell her, Madison said, "Momma its your turn" She looked up and I helped her up. 

"Thanks" We approached the lady. "Sorry about that" Africa apologized. 

"Its alright" She smiled and directed us to the room. "Dr. Sangeet will be in soon" We already knew the routine. She sat on the bed and lifted her shirt. Madison got on her tippy toes and rubbed her stomach.  They smiled and laughed at eachother. I snapped a picture, and they both  looked at me. The doctor came in.

"Ms. Nelson. How are you?" 

"Im good. " She aint sound happy. The doctor looked at me and said hello. 

"Hi, Jamal right?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Excited?"

Yes. Very" She put the jelly on Africa's stomach and got the monitor ready. 

"Hi Madison"

"Hi Geet" They laughed. 

"She still cant get your name right." Africa laughed.

"Thats alright, Its close enough, ask your mom if you can get some candy from the jar" Madison looked at Africa with pleading eyes and a smile. 

"Just 2 pieces of candy Maddy"

"Yes" Madison did the Tiger woods victory thing. I laughed at her. She got the candy and sat down after saying thank you.

"Well , you guys ready to see what this bundle of joy is?"

"Yep" We said at the same time. 

"Its aaaaaa..." She moved it around a little more. " A boy" I jumped up and kissed Africa. I guess she liked it because the baby started moving a lot. 

"Jamal you scared the fuck outta me...oops Sorry Maddy" She covered her mouth. I laughed.

"Sorry baby. I just knew it. Imma have a boy." I smiled.
