Razielle and her brothers scanned over the crowd, still a stranger to what was happening, they were worried for why almost everyone seemed to be begging and crying on their knees.
Because they had heard nothing, and were utterly confused as they darted their eyes towards Leno and his friends to watch his face hold an absolutely mortified reaction.
Leno knew he had to act fast, for it was just seconds before everything would start to crumble. When he locked eyes with his children standing in the middle of ground, he didn't think twice about the consequences as he tapped into his fairly rusty abilities and sped his way over to the trio. The three had their jaws hanging wide open, as Griffin stumbled over his words to what he had just seen, "Did you just? How did you –"but he was cut off by his father who spoke in a rather rushed voice, "Not now. Your questions will be answered. Just trust me"
He gave the three no choice but to comply, as he instructed them to hold his hand and weirdly enough asked them to run. "What? How that is supposed –"This time Zayden voiced his concerns to only be cut off by his father's booming command, "Just run!"
The next seconds, or even milliseconds passed away in a blur. As the four soon stood inside their house, three of them were still trying to comprehend what just happened, while Leno rushed towards the doors and kept checking every lock and window in the house.
Leno knew it was time, for the children to know their destiny but he was still terrified.
He didn't know what would happen, and he certainly didn't want to lose them. "Sit." He instructed, his eyes clearly held uncertainty in them but he also knew he couldn't protect them forever. As the three children sat in front of Leno still trying to digest all this, Leno reached out to them and placed a certain serum in their hands, in order to flush all the sedatives and let the children finally discover the truth.
And most definitely, each one of them immediately felt strange after drinking the suspicious looking liquid. If to put the sensation in words, they felt more in touch with reality.
As they watched Leno's eyes change color from his usual brown to piercing green ones, all three of them were ready to jump off the couch and exit the house at the very moment.
The boy's were already flipping over the couch, as Razielle sat there looking into her Uncle's eyes. She could certainly decipher nothing, but she could however, see the her soft green eyes switch into electrifying blue ones, reflected back at her through Leno's eyes.
The boys at the back saw their reflections in the mirror and stood still as well. No words were said what so ever, as each just stood still in their places, watching everything flash before their eyes.
Their marks, or so to say tattoos on their arms lit up itself, inhibiting a strange glow as the three Asgarhs, who were previously unknown to this information watched silently as their mind unlocked itself, grasping this knowledge and inheriting the abilities that were trapped inside of them.
Leno was the one to break this silence, "You're not normal humans you're Asgarhs. A part of the Ierós"
Razielle sat at her place strangely calm, while the two boys standing behind her were going crazy. "A what now!?" "What was that!?" Zayden and Griffin both exclaimed at the same time, both spewing questions at their father who seemed not at all affected by all this. "You're Asgarhs, or to put it simply demonic werewolves." Said Leno as it was the most casual thing ever while leaning back and waiting for more questions.
"Zayden dammit, I told you not to leave weed around the house!" exclaimed Griffin while smacking Zayden at the back of his head.
"What are you talking about? I barely bring my stash around here"
"Oh really? Look at dad's face and tell me he's not high dumbass!"
"Boys. First of all I'm not high, and secondly would you rather prefer to argue about weed or maybe learn something about who you truly are and focus of how much danger we currently are in?" Leno stated while cutting off the banter between the two brothers and motioned them to sit again.
Zayden just leaned in and whispered in Griffin's ear, "On second thought, he actually might be a little high" before heading off and seating next to the awfully quiet Razielle. When all three of them were settled, Leno inquired about Razielle's strange silence, "Why are you so awfully quiet child?" Razielle just looked up at him and shook her head, "Why didn't you tell us before? If there was so much danger why hide this from us?"
"I was just trying to protect you all" responded Leno, which only ticked off Razielle's fury even more, "Protect us? I prefer calling this destroying our lives rather than 'protecting' us!"
Leno knew she was right; he shouldn't have done this but it the only thing he could think of to protect them. And before he even had a chance to respond, Razielle begun firing questions at him, "What else did you lie about?"
"I never lied to any of you, I only tried to protect you"
"Bullshit!" shouted an absolutely seething Razielle, "Who was my father? And why the hell are my eyes blue? What the hell is happening?"
"I swear I never lied to anyone of you. Hid information from you? Yes. But lied to you? I would never do that."
"You're special Raze, and your father was a great man, he sacrificed himself to save your life. You're the Alpha's daughter Raze" Soothed Leno, in hopes to calm down Razielle. He no doubt loved the girl just as much as his two sons; he considered her his daughter and only tried to look out for her.
"Um, Raze, sorry to interrupt but about what the hell is happening to your eyes!?" pointed out Griffin cautiously afraid the girl would snap his neck and as Razielle snapped her neck towards Griffin to tell him to sew his mouth close.
Her gaze fell towards the mirror lying on the ground not too far from her.
Her eyes were indeed no longer the electric blue she had seen before, rather staring back at her, were two orbs slowly transforming into a deep blood red, glowing in such a murderous manner;
That even the devil was put to shame.
