Dave's pov-

John was doing a pretty good job. He was still a little bit wobbly but he was still walking just fine. He had made his way to about the half way mark before he had to stop. "My legs hurt." He said, leaning onto the wall. I smiled slightly. "It's okay. You need to take a break. Don't want you running out of engery to early in the day." God, what am I saying? He's making me ramble now. The one and only Dave Strider does not ramble. Oh, there goes my ego again. God damnit. I turned around so my back was facing John. My thoughts were getting the best of me and John was get the worst half of it. I needed to clear my mind. It was hard seeing the one you care most for just losing his brain and not being able to function normally. It was hard on a person. I sighed, ready to turn back around when I was hit by a very small but very powerful force. Nepeta.

"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Dave." She giggled, sitting back on knees. I groaned. Somebody didn't tell Nepeta what was going on with John. I blame Equius for this. "Nepeta could you please get off." She nodded and sprung to her feet. Damn, she really is just like a cat. "How is my furiend doing?" I sighed. "Just fine I guess." I looked over at John, who was oblivious to the encounter I just had. The shipping cat girl looked over at John. Her mouth opened wide and I knew what she was going to do. I put my hand over her mouth. "Neptea please keep quiet." I looked down at the small girl. "He lost his memory and doesn't know who you are. He'll freak out if he sees you. You don't want that to happen do you?" She shook her head quickly." I removed my hand from her mouth. "My poor furiend. I hope he gets better soon." Yeah, me too kid. Me too.
